AL GORE IS OUT OF HIS STRAIGHT JACKET AGAIN

In an interview with the New Yorker, former Vice President and almost president (thank God he lost) Al Gore is once again attacking the president. This is unbelievable. Al has apparently resigned himself to the fact that he will now live the rest of his life as a bitter victim. The sour grapes have now lasted four years. How much longer are you going to hold a grudge, Al? Apparently forever.

So anyway, in this interview Gore said he did not like President Bush's public declaration of his faith. "It's a particular kind of religiosity. It's the American version of the same fundamentalist impulse that we see in Saudi Arabia, in Kashmir, in religions around the world: Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Muslim. They all have certain features in common." That's right, your eyes do not deceive you....Al Gore has just compared President Bush's religious expression to fundamentalist Islam. Allrighty then.

Gore continued Bashing the president....saying "I wasn't surprised by Bush's economic policies, but I was surprised by the foreign policy, and I think he was, too. The real distinction of this presidency is that, at its core, he is a very weak man." Wow...awfully personal there...do I sense a bit of resentment? What's next? Al protesting in front of the White House gate with a sign saying "get out of my house?" You never know.

Gore went on to call Bush a bully and a moral coward, but you get the idea. Unbelievably, Al Gore can't let go of his 2000 election defeat, but he seems to hold genuine personal hatred for the man that defeated him.

Now that's weak.

Someone actually did a count. Clinton evoked the name of the Lord in speeches more often than President Bush has.

IMHO, the only difference seems to be, everyone knows President Bush believes & means it.

I actually was watching when the clip of gore & clinton was first aired. gore asked who were the busts of Washington & Jefferson. I remember being blown away by his ignorance. I recognized the dead presidents & I wasn't even in the room. I remember clinton looked shocked & embarrassed by gore's question. Later when I learned gore grew up in DC, it was even more shocking. That was a keeper.

Did anyone see the picture of Gore on Drudge this morning? My, my! He looks like he escaped from a nuthouse and then spent about four months hanging out at Ben and Jerry's and McDonald's.
