"Its still a bit early to write off some of these states, but right now, it appears the map of competitive states is shrinking in an ominous way for the Kerry camp"Maybe the President was right again...God hasn't become indifferent to this nation.

Bush could taunt Kerry by running some ads in the NYC market or by doing radio buys on New York and New Jersey radio stations.
Trouble is, the NYC radio market is ultra-expensive. It does reach into NJ, CT, and part of PA, but the Bush campaign would have to be utterly flush with $$ to do this.

From what I understand, Bush does have quite a bit of cash. But they could save money by going radio and using cable buys. But I also think it wouldn't take much to get the attention of the NYC media -- perhaps just a couple of ads during Oprah or something. It wouldn't have to be big.

I'd like to see Bush spend a few days in CA and take a side trip into Jersey from PA. If you think the Democrats are in a dither now, I think that would put them over the edge. They don't have the money to respond.

That would be cool, and it might help some other Repubs in California in the election.
