I beg to differ. It is precisely because Im a self-respecting woman that I dont need Brads condescension cloaked in kindness. I want to earn what I get, deserve what I earn, and decide exactly what I do with my earnings instead of handing that responsibility off to a political party. I am capable of that and much more, because Im a girl. Great line!!!!!!!!!

We believe a day's work is worth a day's pay, and at a time when women still earn 77 cents for every dollar earned by men, we need stronger equal pay laws and stronger enforcement of them.If this were really true, then evil, greedy corporations, whose only concern is bottom line profits, could immediately save 23% on labor costs by firing all the men and hiring women in their place. "Broadsourcing," I'll call it. The fact they don't do this either means corporations have other concerns, or that women are not drop-in replacements for men at 77% of the pay, despite the oft-repeated sound-bite of 'rat rhetoric.

If women really do offer equal work for 23 cents less on the dollar, why does anyone bother hiring men?Brilliant! I'll have to use that response next time I hear that bogus statistic.

I can never understand why women are considered a minority group anyway. There are slightly more females than males in the population so surely that puts us males in the minority?
Equal rights for men I say.

It happened in a Capitol Hill bar on Friday night. I was introduced to a friend of a friend. He asked where I worked, and his eyebrows flew up at the mere mention of The Heritage Foundation. As he tried to tame his look of alarm, he explained, I used to work for the DNC. (Democratic National Committee) Well, there you have it. Eyebrows were raised, acronyms used, ideological lines drawn.
I bet that felt like a scene out of an old wild west saloon showdown....
