Thanks for the update Lady. Had been wondering how your sons and their families were doing.
A kidney infection could cause the symptoms that your grandson experienced. Do you know if he experienced any nausea?
To: Aquamarine; JohnHuang2
Just beautiful, Aquamarine and another great one, John..Thank You!

LOL! That was
so cute, Lady Maggie!
On a more serious note, I will add your Grandson to my prayers.

Kudos and thank you to our "John's Two Cents Team". As always, beautifully written and illustrated.
Love that first photo of our President and First Lady, Aqua. Aren't they a handsome, happy couple?
And your "spitball" graphic is so funny, Billie. Aqua told me that you were making one for her. I've been trying my hand at animations again. Was up until 3:00 AM trying to learn PhotoShop's ImageReady program. Managed to make one animation and it ended up being WAY too large to ever post (over 700K), even after I optimized it! This is not easy. LOL
Wish I could stay around but I still have a long list of things to do before the FR picnic this weekend......like a ton of fruit to cut up and tri-tip to pick up and marinade.
Hugs all around!

"Where (how) do you come up with this?! lol!" Firstly, JH2 plumb trips my trigger..:))
Secondly, I plumb the depths of Google.
Thirdly, I reach into the depths of a complicated, devious mind,
and transfer ideas to an e-mail to myself - construct the post in another e-mail - -
and somehow it flows, and is copied to the Post Box - sheer madness in action..:))

(Prayers for my grandson, please?) Hi Maggie. Yes, prayers going up for your grandson, and also for the safety of all in the path of yet another dangerous hurricane.
To: Aquamarine
Having once had pyelonephritis that revealed my kidney destruction, that was my first question, Aqua.
Kevin said there was no fever - no nausea - urinalysis and labs showed nothing extraordinary.
I would hazard a guess it is a pinched nerve/s, and thus perhaps a disk problem?
He plays football for his high school - wide receiver.

Prayers appreciated, Mama_Bear.
Yes, the last thing we need is another storm.
My South Carolina set a record for the most tornados
generated with a hurricane - we had 40 of them.
The Tornado Warnings 24/7 do get our attention.

Just received a call from my son in Key West. Evacuating the Keys. They have been moving boats out of the water all day. Told him to please leave - he said no, he is staying. Oh, no. I will be praying for his safety. I know how worried you must be. And, it's your birthday?
Try to have a happy one, dixie.

If nothing else is dispositive, I hope they will consider trying to map the blood circulation to his brain.
I don't know if there are any standard symptoms of such things as aneurisms, but it would be reassuring to eliminate yet another possibility.
Prayers and crossed fingers for all. (Actually, I think it's helping my typing...)

I'll keep him in my prayers.

I was so focused on the info about the storm and your son that I completely missed it being your birthday.
Please try to have a Happy one!
To: MEG33
Glad you enjoyed it Meg.
Have been seeing you over on the Hurricane threads. It's fascinating and frightening watching these storms happen in real time. My mom and her family went through a devastating hurricane back in the late 20's before they even started naming them. Bet they would have liked to seen what was coming at them on satellite.
To: Kitty Mittens
Thank you Kitty. I love flowers!
