He told Putin to just ask if he needed anything.
Russia can take care of their own domestic terrorism. It is international terrorism that we are fighting in the Middle East, and that is what Russia needs to come in on in Iraq and with Iran.
Russia needs to go in and destroy the Iranian nuclear plant. They were building it for them anyhow, time to cut them off. The extremists just bit the hand that was helping them.
And finally, in Russia, hundreds of agonized parents are worried about the fate of their children. This is yet another grim reminder of the lengths to which terrorists will go to threaten the civilized world. We mourn the innocent lives that have been lost. We stand with the people of Russia. We send them our prayers in this terrible situation.
Actually he did talk to Putin and am glad to see them on the same side against the terrorists.
Yes he's been referring to it on the campaign trail in his stump speeches.
Our president has spoken very forcefully about the terrorist attack in Russia. Of course the liberal media is too busy misleading people about his service in the Air National Guard, to talk much about Bush/Putin.
He called Putin several times and has talked to him privately....he offered anything we have that they might need.
Kerry on the other hand hasn't said a single word about it.

He has reached out. He immediately called Putin, we have sent 3 transport planes with medical equipment (some of it specialty burn equipment). We've done good.
This was one of the dumber vanities today.
.. and don't forget; the blow-by-blow's on Clinton's diet history; his chest pains; his ninety-minute call to Kerry; Chelsea and Hillary's letter' his post-op updates ad nauseum; takes up some space; which media is more than happy to fill. . .
Has Kerry offered anything definitive - besides his 'thoughts and prayers' that is?

Dear friends,
I want to thank again all of you who sent me e-mails with encouragement and prayers. Your e-mails have been forwarded to the Russian Baptist Union to encourage and support believers all across Russia and specially in Beslan. Without indication of your names, your e-mails will be posted on Russian Baptist Union official Web sight.
I also praise the Lord for those who have already responded saying that this coming Sunday some churches will be taking up a special offering for Beslan families. Thank you, friends. We need to help those who is still alive and going through the time of mourning.
I spoke with both Yuriy Sipko, the President of the Russian Baptist Union and Peter Mitskevich, who is still in Beslan.
Here are specific things to pray about:
- Pray for families who lost their loved ones. 335 people died.
- Pray for those who are in the hospitals. 346 are in the hospitals of Beslan, Vladikavkaz, Rostov-Don, and other cities.
- Pray for children who are in the stage of shock. Some of the kids still cannot speak. Some of them absolutely terrified when they see or hear when doctors enter their hospital rooms. Some children have nightmares and cry in the middle of the night.
- Pray for those families who are still missing their loved ones. Some people were completely burned and there is nothing left… There are over 200 bodies and remains that have not been identified. People have been asked to give their blood so identification can be made examining and comparing the DNA.
- Pray for a little boy, Boris, the son of Pastor Sergey and Sister Bella Totiev. Boris was shot into the eye. He almost lost it. The doctors are trying to save some sight on the other eye. The constructive and plastic surgery will have to be done on his face. Please, pray for this family as they will need money for this expensive surgery. It is most likely that the surgery can be done in Moscow. His parents will need travel money as well.
- Pray for the entire Totiev’s family. They buried a daughter, Anna. Another daughter is still missing.
- Pray for Pastor Temuraz and Raya Totiev. Their daughter, Luba, was buried today. Other four children are still missing.
- Pray for the Beslan Baptist Church as they try to cope with the loss of the relatives and church members.
- Pray for Osetiya. This time people are open to the Gospel. Pray for 3 missionaries of the Russian Baptist Union who are ready to go to Osetiya to start mission work in the area. Pray that we can raise the support for them.

Beslan…
The rain is pouring out. Everything is crying. Sky is crying. People are crying…
When we entered the city of Beslan, then immediately stopped by a new and fresh cemetery. Graves are being added quickly by heavy equipment. This cemetery appeared two days ago, right after the tragedy in the school. During the second day of funerals dozens of people are being buried and most of them chidlren. As I came to one of the graves I read on the banners: To Amiz from classmates”.
Today Pastor Peter Lunichkin together with other brothers conducted a funeral for a little boy, Arthur. He was 9 years old. Together with his mother, Irina Dzhioeva and his brother Mark, he was in school. Mother was able to manage to get out with Mark whom she was holding on her hands. Their father Ahshar was at home with other three daughters.
In the evening Irina came home to let the family of Totievs and crying said: “Be encouraged! We have hope! God still loves us!”
By the walls of the school there are flowers, children’s school bags, bottles of water. Beside one can see cartridges from automatic weapons and shells. In school classes are destroyed and full of debris. One can see children’s notebooks and books. Outside of the school there are dozens of stretchers lining to the wall. In the gym, on the floor there is black ash. It is ashes of burned children… There are flowers in the windows mixed with kid’s size shoes… On the walls one can see clear spots made by the shot bullets. People are everywhere. They are silent as they go through class to class, corridors and the gym. They sigh, pray…
About five hundred meters from the school there is a Beslan Baptist Church. Close the church two houses of the Totievs families. Rain… Grief… In the homes of the Totitevs is sorrow. Brothers Sergey and Teymuraz together with their father Feliks are outside. There are other men all in black which is a sign of grief…
Outside of the house there are two coffins… Two girls are in there peacefully lying down… They are in the school uniform. Faces are burned. The coffins are in flowers. Around coffins women are standing, elderly and young… Two ladies are sitting: mothers, Bella and Raya.
In the city of Beslan there are 35 thousnad people live. The city is located 5 kilometers from the airport and 14 kilometrs from another big city, Vladikavkaz. Most of the population is Osetians – 30,000. The rest of the people are Russians, Ukrainians, Koreans, and others. The Baptist Church of Beslan has 244 members. The services are conducted in Osetian language.
Every family in Beslan was touched by the tragedy. There were more than 1,250 hostages. This tragedy touched entire Russia and the world. God! Help us!
In the home of Totiev we prayed. I gave devotion. I also said that people of the Russian Baptist Union and around the world have been praying for them. I reminded everyone an amazing Gospel story from John 11. Christ was asked to come to the home of Lazarus. When Christ came in the house of mourning he said: “I am resurrection and life. The one who believes in Me even if dies will be alive.” What a joy that believers have faith and hope again to meet with those who lived in Christ. We can open our desires to Christ.
Pastor Sergey Totiev and his wife Bella three children were among the hostages in school. Their son, Boris, is in the hospital. He lost his eye. Their daughter Anna died and her body was brought from the morgue. Another daughter is among the missing ones.
Pastor Tamuraz and Raya had 5 children among the hostages. Only one daughter was able to escape. On Sunday the body of their daughter, Luba, was brought home to be buried. Other 3 children are still missing.
Only God can bring comfort. The day of mourning and grief… Everything is crying… Hearts are crying… But is Christ we have hope and comfort.
He has mentioned it almost every day.
