I kind of like the way it sounds, I'll probably make some variations on it, give it some more kick, but its got potential.

Bah! My conservative dad cooks a darn good apple pie. It takes a real man to cook a real pie! ;-)
It takes a real man to eat one of my pies and resist driving himself to the emergency room when his chest locks up! :o)

Blah! It's like drinking near beer (kinderbier). Sauerkraut is like Asparagus or Liver, it's either really great or very bad. I've had both bad tasting and good tasting saurkraut from a few major brands.

Yum, Sounds excellent. I'll try it. Thanks.
Oh, BTW folks - lots of really good food starts out like this - nasty sounding ingredients, and cooking it fast - But the end result is great. I line-cooked for a while at one time.
And there are a LOOOT of folks out there who put just about everything in the world into their chili. (Except beans) You know who you are.

I'd say it would take a real man to drive himself to the ER after that! A girly man would call an ambulance and pass out on the floor.
As I'm a real woman, I wouldn't eat it in the first place!

In college I worked for a pizza delivery place and one of the ingredients they offered was sauerkraut...yecchh. On one or two occasions I actually had to make one.

Has anyone drunk Saurkraut juice - they sell it in cans ice cold in the mid west somewhere. Also they say kraut is good with pineapples!

I love sauerkraut juice and sauerkraut in general. When we run out of hot-dogs I put sauerkraut on the roll with a little mustard, yum!

Yes, it's a joke. I really don't cook much - unless you count BBQ or chili. Living most of my life in Texas, I can make a very mean brisket.
