THE speed with which Presi dent Clinton received quad ruple bypass surgery pro vides an important lesson in health-care reform that voters should keep in mind this election season.
Last Thursday, the former president went to Northern Westchester Hospital, near his home in Chappaqua, complaining of chest pain and shortness of breath. As The New York Times reported, "Initial tests showed nothing extraordinary," but doctors asked the former president to return the next morning.

I married a Canadian... needless to say we use MY HEALTHCARE insurance.... there is a reason for that...
Yeah I heard someone say that if Hillery's Health care plan would have passed, Clinton would may well have had to wait for his treatment. <p. what commentators always miss about these stories is that the Dum elitist would never be subjected to such a plan. Just us little people.
See if this works.

Nah..being an ex-POTUS Xlinton would have gotten speedy care if our health-care system was socialized or not.
What a great article, I sent it to everyone on my list.
I want to know if he specifically requested an affirmative-action surgeon perform the operation.
I agree. There is no way that the Clintons are not going to have great coverage and they and the people behind them would dearly love to see all of us have, really, none. You see, we don't count. In their minds; they are the only ones that can make judgements about us. That was proved over and over when the co-presidents were in office. Remember that time on the beach Clinton had this person arrested for disagreeing with him. That's the kind of treatment we would receive; if they or anyone like them were to come to office.
The way it would work is that hospitals would have special VIP/quick/top of the line treatment for foreigners, so they could have profit centers. In fact, all countries might do this, not just the US. So, those who got care in their own countries (unless they were special by virtue of being in the government) would get screwed and receive the socialized service, but those who could afford the freight to another country would get VIP medical treatment.
Pretty screwed up, if you ask me.
absolutely, Remember when the Soviet system failed. The striking difference in the hospitals for the "people" and the top notch hospitals for the elite.
