We will be meeting on Saturday, September 11, 2004, at 12 noon, at the northwest corner of Bryant Park (the park behind the main public library). This is the southeast corner of the intersection of 42nd and Sixth (Avenue of the Americas).
We have T-shirts for the first 36 people to RSVP, and are working on the signs. I am also working with some other groups to join us.
The plan is to do a sidewalk march, for which you do not need a permit as long as you don't block the pedestrian flow, to Union Square Park (14th Street and Broadway).
Please post on this thread about whether or not you can attend. Ideas for signs are very welcome.
Did I forget anything? Anybody need any candles?
They will never forget it.
Give your niece a really nice present and come to the March bump
Friday afternoon bump
Can anyone come with a digital camera? I will bring a disposable if all else fails but . . . ???
Great. I guess I will meet you guys there.
Morning bump
I heard Steve's announcement -- he really gave support to NYYRC, your march, as well as other efforts. A cool guy.
Sorry I could not make it Saturday; my brother and I had a very late night Friday and I craved sleep. The T-shirt you generously gave me is in the wrapper, and I would like an opportunity to redeem both it and my sleepy a*s. Keep me informed of other events and I'll do my best to show up.
Still being,
