We will be meeting on Saturday, September 11, 2004, at 12 noon, at the northwest corner of Bryant Park (the park behind the main public library). This is the southeast corner of the intersection of 42nd and Sixth (Avenue of the Americas).
We have T-shirts for the first 36 people to RSVP, and are working on the signs. I am also working with some other groups to join us.
The plan is to do a sidewalk march, for which you do not need a permit as long as you don't block the pedestrian flow, to Union Square Park (14th Street and Broadway).
Please post on this thread about whether or not you can attend. Ideas for signs are very welcome.
Did I forget anything? Anybody need any candles?
You still have your shirt, right? So glad you're coming.
Thanks, contact ny cop and thank the flat foot. maybe he will go.
Videos and cameras!
Our lovely photographer will be there, not wearing a shirt but taking pictures of us wearing them. Don't know about videos. If anybody has one, bring it.
I have six shirts with me. Heading out for the independent YR club now. Anyone who promises to come to the march gets a shirt. We buy votes too. (just kidding)
Thursday evening bump
God speed to yous.
Come on Freepers put your money where your mouths are and MARCH! There better be more than Ten people! This is sacred ground on our generations December 7th, Don't let our boys down.
Thank you for your loyal support. Wish you two lived closer!
no problem, I'm thinking of coming in early, like 8 or 9 am, hitting the Empire St. Bldg, Ground zero...then up to the park.
These Freepers better not make me come down there or I will kick all their A$$ES!! Come on NY! You deserve Hitlary!
Will try to drag my Ohio brother with me tomorrow. Good to see you last night and thanks for the T-shirt.
New York City and State freepers: Please note that we cannot win elections here in the city, and it is getting harder and harder to win them in the rest of the state. Our only method is activism. So get your patooties in gear. You have all the lovely excuses in the world, so longfellow is right, you deserve Hillary and all the other Rats if you don't help to start and nourish some kind of conservative juggernaut here.
It was great to see you too. Steve Malzberg brought out a lot of fans last night, and he announced the March twice on his ABC Radio show, once at the beginning and once at the end, my nightowl friends tell me. So glad you are coming tomorrow.
