Statement by Maine Bush-Cheney ’04 Chairman Peter Cianchette
George W. Bush ^ | September 8, 2004

Posted on 09/08/2004 2:11:24 PM PDT by RWR8189

BANGOR, ME – Today, Maine Bush-Cheney ’04 Chairman Peter Cianchette released the following statements regarding Kerry-Edwards’s poor record on economic, health care and environmental issues which have a direct impact on the future of Maine residents.

“As the Kerry-Edwards campaign travels through Maine today, it is clear to Mainers that the tax-and-spend policies of John Kerry and John Edwards will not grow the economy or stimulate job creation.

“John Kerry and John Edwards have repeatedly chosen to side with their trial lawyer friends over the doctors and patients of America by opposing medical malpractice reforms that would work to lower the cost of health care in the United States and provide greater access for rural communities. In fact, Sen. Edwards opposed caps on malpractice awards which raise health care costs by as much as $108 billion dollars each year.

“John Kerry and John Edwards have made a habit of blocking effective legislation, including the President’s energy policy which provides a long term energy policy focused on renewable, affordable and reliable energy supplies. Time after time, they choose what they see as short-term political gain rather than make tough decisions based on principle, not politics.”

Yee-Hah, people!;

If you want the entire U.S, of A. to be every bit as Opressed, Distressed, Supressed, REgressed and DEpressed as the STATE of MAINE has been ever since the Democrats took over, then elect John KERRY as your next El Presidente'!

Just come up heah to Maine and try to make an honest living or run a small business (H@!!; ANY blooming business) for a while, and see what America would be like under the KERRY/EDWARDS Regime!

Oh; BTW; How's your Somalian? We don't speak French much any more up Lewiston way...

The only way I would learn how to speak Somalian, is if I went there to live. I don't see it happening.

After the Dems import a few million more Somalis to vote them into office forever, they might start deporting us Yankees, after all our property and assetts have been confiscated for "redistribution" to them, back to Somalia. They won't need us any more, and it would be politicly expedient.

Besides; they'll need us to keep an eye on the goat herds I suppose. Somebody has to.

At least we won't have to shovel much snow over there, eh?

They would have to shoot me first.

That probably goes for both of us!

Trouble is, we're talking de Gub'ment here; when it comes to dissenters, shooting can be arranged.

Just try not paying taxes for a while and see what happens!

And they have lots of tanks, artillery, and air superiority - distinct tactical advantages over recalcitrant peasants like us.

We might consider escaping to NH before they mine the border to keep us from fleeing communist repression here in ME.
But then if Kerry wins, there won't be any freedom left to escape to for political asylum.

I suppose where there's "W", there's Hope, eh? };^{)~

Maine would take a 'double hit.' Baldacchi as Governor and Kerry as President? Please!!!!!!

God help us all. If FnKerry does become President, I am finished with politics. That's it.
