What are the new swing states? Mass, CT, VT and New York j.k. Seriously, I think the swing states now are Missouri, Iowa, Oregon, New Mexico, Minnesota, Maine and West Virginia. Notice, that's 2 2000 Bush state in that list. We're playing on Kerry's ground from now on out I believe. It would be nice to have PA and it is moving toward Bush. However, I think the best chances for state switches right now are Iowa (popular Rep Senate candidate, would take alot of ticket switching) and Minnesota (something happened there in 2002)

Missouri, once again, is Bush Country...always has been in EVERY poll, tho some closer than others. The Carnahan candidacy is the only reason 2000 was close here.
I think you can probably figure Wisconsin as a Gore state most likely to go Bush....

Did you forget about Wisconsin, or are we so solidly in Bush Country that all the cigarettes in North Carolina, union jackets worn to polls (in Milwaukee, it's 2-for-1 ballots for union thugs) and slimeball students at Marquette and UWM can't change it? ;-)

Forget WV as a swing state. It's solid for Bush.
