Driving into work this morning I was stuck for several minutes (a long stoplight) behind a brand new Jag with a Kerry bumper sticker on it. The longer I stared at the bumper sticker, the more I thought it resembled (or at least was suggestive of) the Viet Cong flag. I present the evidence to a candid audience for review and commentary.
Or maybe I'm just letting my imagination get the better of me out of spite and disgust for having had to stare at the bumper sticker for several minutes - and on a Jag, to boot.
A Jag? That must have been one of the little people that Kerry is so in touch with.
"Once a commie, always a commie" subliminal placemarker.
;^)
Can't imagine where you got the idea...
It's remarkable nowdays in Southern California; the more expensive the car the more likely it is to sport a Kerry sticker. I, on the other hand, drive a 12-year old Civic.
I don't know if it looks the same, but I'm doing a Viet Cong version for a freep tonight: Yellow Star, maybe a hammer and sickle, red stripes. Might be dripping blood...
Dude, respectfully suggest you consider switching to decaf..
Might not be able to make an ironclad case on the VN flag but that image of Kerry is still a powerful picture of perfidy.
Looks better than my sold out Kerry-Fonda bumoer stickers.
In God We Trust
..Semper Fi!
The pentagram may be inverted with one point down. The implication is of spirit subservient to matter, of man subservient to his carnal desires. The inverted pentagram has come to be seen by many pagans as representing the dark side and it is abhored as an evil symbol. Fundamental christians, indeed, see any form of pentagram as such. However, these are recent developments and the inverted pentagram is the symbol of Gardnerian second degree initiation, representing the need of the witch to learn to face the darkness within so that it may not later rise up to take control. The centre of a pentagram implies a sixth formative element - love/will which controls from within, ruling matter and spirit by Will and the controlled magickal direction of sexual energies. This is another lesson of initiation.
Rather fitting, isn't it?
The In God We Trust should be changed to In Allah We Trust.
Ooops, sorry. I thought that was a part of the actual sticker. My bad.
When ever I encounter a Kerry sticker on a car, which is rare in Alabama. There is usually on of those blue squares with the yellow "=" (gay rights) stickers next to it. I try to get the driver's attention and make the loser sign on my forehead with my right hand then point at them.
