Just saw channel 13 news showing cars being towed from shoulder of highway. Our dimocRat city officials no doubt. I don't have an inside track but I wonder "if this were a sKerry rally, would the towtrucks be out in full force"?

I noticed in a video yesterday of Kerry protestors (Bush supporters) that the one guy they interviewed was 19. The Kerry supporter they interviewed was in her 70's, at least.
I think that is very telling. We might be turning the corner on conservative politics in this country with these younger supporters.

How long do you think it will be before we see kerry at a "Kitchen Table" conversation with a "family"?How about a "Front Seat Conversation" with a commuter (to a minimum wage job?)

I was thirty feet from him in Lee's Summit. I was there too but I was behind and a little to the side of him. Behind the small bleacher seats. The crowd loved him. When leaving I saw a few protesters across 291. Just smiled and waved my Bush/Cheney sign at them.

We were there also, stuck in the parking lot afterwards for about an hour before moving an inch.
When we finally reached the entrance to the parking lot, the Boone County patrolman told us 15-17,000 people in attendance at the event. That doesn't include the many who were turned away.
It was an awesome day. Go W!!

Thanks for the report and pictures -- President Bush is drawing huge crowds across the country and the proof in the photos is wonderful to see!

One of the other candidates who spoke before the President arrived today mentioned the dead voters, pets, and others who voted for Gore in 2000 when the St. Louis judge kept the polls open for 45 minutes past the closing time.
With President Bush and several other great Republican candidates for state office, that will hopefully not be a concern this year.

I sure hope the local Repubs notified local law enforcment about the number of tickets they handed out.Cole County (Jefferson City) Rep. office handed out all of their tickets during the day and had more delivered at 6:00PM so they knew it was going to be a big turnout. They just didn't pass on the info I guess.

the Boone County patrolman told us 15-17,000 people in attendance Sorry I missed you today. I think the County patrolman was closer to the real figure than other estimates (based on cars, bus/vans etc parked in lots, fields, and road side for miles.

I don't know if this has been posted, but a Poplar Bluff businessman got 10,000 signature signed on a letter asking that the President come to Poplar Bluff. It was his first stop in Missouri on Monday night. When President Bush's plane went over Poplar Bluff his comment was "I can't believe there are even 10,000 people in this town". Well, 28,000 people showed up!
Today I was at the Rally in Columbia. I have pics, and even with some FReeper advice I can't get them posted, but I can email them to any one that would like to see, just mail me your email.
The crowd was wild with excitement. It was the President's last stop in Missouri and then he went back to the White House.
Yes, thousands of people tried to get in and when they started turning them away, people actually pulled over on the shoulder of the road (Highway 63) and some walked as far as three miles to see the President of the United States. Unfortunately, when they got back to the cars, the cars had been towed away. Guess some-kind of final revenge from the Holden regime.
In any case it was a WOW kind of day! I was surprised by the few number of demonstrators for it being Missouri's largest college town. Only about 250 and the ones I saw looked like a flashback from the 60's.
When I got home Kerry has some really negative ads running on loss of jobs in Missouri. BUT the thing Kerry is missing is IT'S NOT THE ECONOMY STUPID! We want a leader and a President of conviction and moral courage. The biggest crowd pleaser was the President's stance on Terrorism and not waiving to these evil doers.
Pray for our President. The election is coming sooner rather than later.
IT IS NOW OUR TIME NOT TO WAIVER, NOT TO TIRE, NOT TO FALTER AND NOT TO FAIL TO RE-ELECT GEORGE W. BUSH FOR FOUR MORE YEARS!
ON NOVEMBER 2, 2004 THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY IS IN OUR HANDS!

I was struck by the number of young people in attendance. It seemed like 1/4 of the crowd was 20 years old. I had to take this shot of Ann Coulter.(not really Ann Coulter)

That may be true elsewhere, but I remember being at a 1996 rally for Dole / Kemp in Pittsburgh with about 10,000 at any one time and maybe 20,000 total with people coming and going (at a large park right in downtown with no security lines or any restrictions on movement), many families with young children who couldn't stay very long.
If most people think that the crowds for Dole / Kemp were pathetically small, then in fact the enemy mass media succeeded in their task! In actual fact, I do think of the national media as our enemy in regards to Truth vs Lies and think of them only with contempt.
Maybe someone should begin a thread about nationwide reports of crowd estimates at President Bush rallies vs left-wing traitor's rallies, which would be a great encouragement to everybody.

Let me see if I have this right. The polls are saying that Bush's numbers are going to pull back and Kerry will improve his numbers.
Kerry is speaking to crowds of 500-1500 and Bush is speaking to crowds of 15,000-25,000, and the crowds are getting larger......mmmmm
Also, the Kerry campaign stated that with Edtards on board he would give them the ability to campaign better, but after a few weeks because no one was showing up at his stops there brought him in to campaign with Kerry.....mmmmm
I think I am seeing the beginning of a treand.

Liberals are like squirrels* - for every one squirrel you see there are at least nine out there somewhere. In the case of liberals there's at least nine dead but still voting libs out there for every live one.
* except that squirrels work pretty hard for a living.
