John Kerry is one sick SOB. Even this circular reference to a gun at a debate shows the depravity of his arrogant little lawyer mind. Imagine this guy with his finger on the nuclear football.

Well, when Bush shoots Kerry down with the MILLIONS OF PAGES OF MATERIAL he can use, Kerry will want to use that "rifle."

Thing is, even with a gun in his hand, Kerry would still be at a disadvantage.

Seems like the Secret Service should be all over this.

Check out Drudge too. Seems he sponsored a bill which would have banned this type of gun last year.

My reflection on this story came up with the idea that one of the gift presenters must have quipped something like , "This may come in handy at the debates."
If so, J effin K should not have given any indication that he had even heard the remark if he had a speck of decorum in his awkward body. If J effin K came up with this comment out of the blue, he is one sick and sorry senator. I can understand such thoughts from teamsters, not senators running for POTUS.

It's pathetic that AP doesn't know the difference between a rifle and a shotgun.

"I thank you for the gift, but I can't take it to the debate with me."
This should be headline news as far as I'm concerned. If Bush said anything remotely like this, it would be on the headline on every news website right now

He may turn it on himself after he is annihilated in the debates. Maybe that's what he meant.

I mention a while back about a dream I had. GWinner and skerry were at the debates. Bush in his usual calm steady manner kept coming back at skerry making him look like the fool he is. Skerry got so po'd he came across the stage and took a swing at GWinner. Bush ducked and then landed a RIGHT hook on skerry's massive chin.Knocking him on his ass. Then the Secret Service jumped on Skerry and handcuffed him, leading him off the stage.
Now my question is: Was it a dream or a premonition.

"You have to speak up they're going to run you right over and make you look like idiots," Katie Simenson, 41, told vice presidential candidate John Edwards (news - web sites) in Oak Creek, Wis. Uh. NO. It isn't that they look LIKE idiots. And unfortunately for Kerry/Edwards, the more they talk, the more voters get this very impression.

president of the United Mine Workers of America, gave Kerry a rifle [sic] as a gift. Left over from the last "labor dispute"?

I posted the following on this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1209249/posts ("KERRY COSPONSORED BILL BANNING GUN HE WAVES! (Dukakis Moment?)").
"I thank you for the gift, but I can't take it to the debate with me," Kerry told a cheering crowd as he held up the device.
The way I read it, that comes this close to saying he would like to shoot the sitting president. Given how seriously perceived threats against a current president are taken, plus Kerry's knowledge and status as a US Senator, a public figure speaking to millions via the airwaves, at best his comment is extremely irresponsible. At worst ... well, we can figure it out.

The noise from the democrats is degenerating more and more into the squalling incoherent babble of angry puberts. Mustn't give them the car keys, no matter how they beg and scream and threaten.

And what dogs aren't barking about gun violence - or gun "safety," for the congenitally nuanced - when JF-in'K poses (the operative word) in public with a firearm to try and green the "sportsmen?"
Yep.
Those dogs.
