Boston Globe / LA Times will always shed tears for terrorists, never for their victims.

Cry me a river.

The "suffering" of Mashkadov and Besayev's extended families being taken captive by the Russians will never remotely approach the scope or depth of the suffering perpetrated upon the people in Beslan.

They will be fed.

They will be given water.

They just won't be free to do what they want until Besayev and Mashkadov surrender themselves.

I don't have a problem with this.

Cry me a river.

The media's focus on what the Russian government did or didn't do is appalling.

I agree.

Society has to make a stand and fight the tactics these terrorists are using.

As long as terrorists can kill, maim, and torture without receiving any harm themselves, why should they quit? This is a war and we intend to win it.

What is the lure to being a terrorist - hate, revenge, a pompous belief that every complaint they have is worthy of any horrendous terrorist stunt, and a total disregard of others. Love, honor, humanity is not even a consideration in this lure.

Society has to find a way to stop the terrorist assault on the populace - whatever it takes. If it is a nuclear bomb, total destruction of terrorist breeding grounds and framework, torture - whatever - it must be done.
