Kerry and Edwards are too embarrassing even for the fawning Liberal media. Kerry runs around saying only a Vietnam Vet can be president, but he picked Edwards who never pulled on a pair of combat boots to even mow the lawn. Kerry wants everyone to think he can figure out the world better than Bush and be a better president than him when he cannot even run a decent campaign for the job. He vacilates more than Jimmy Carter and has less charisma than him too. This is a poor excuse for a candidate. Let's start a contest to see when the Democratic honchos and sages will begin the process of telling us why Kerry lost. I say in about another 10 days they'll blame Bush for not playing fair. It's too late for the TODAY show or any other media to save him. Kerry is dooming Kerry because he has a record and people are able to see how he acts as a candidate and that is enough evidence that they don't want this feckless man in charge of the War on Terror.

Very good analysis, IMHO.

Well put.

Bush and his people have rightly identified Kerry's weakness: vacillation. Now Kerry has come out firmly against the war, once again ("wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, etc..."). Bush opened up on him, and rightly so.

Matthews is right in the abstract. Kerry does need to open up on Bush's vulnerabilities, such as they are. Kerry's problem is that Bush's credibility is so much more sturdy than that of Kerry. Matthews' advice, if put into practice, will make Kerry look shrill and negative. You'll see this in the debates as Mr. Hedgehog dispatches Mr. Fox once again.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

That's not true; he borrowed his mother's.
