First some pictures. My server may be slow.
This is a crowd shot behind me. Lots of people there.
The crowd got very energized as these helicopters started flying in.
And here's the Man with the Plan!
All of my shots were Hail Marys.
Good photos. I heard that it was raining.
terrific pics! We just watched the re-run on C-Span, all the way thru...and then all the crowd handshakes...another 10 minutes! W seems energized and completely honest in what he says, he believes.
As is so often, the Hail Mary's will get you what you need.
These are great.
Eyewitness report. :)
FOUR MORE YEARS !
This was a great rally! Already replayed on C-SPAN once. Hopefully they'll replay it again. If they do be sure to watch the Kerry rally in Cleveland afterwards and make a spot comparison or read the thread about it. Night and Day. Clear one campaign has the wind behind its back and the other has clearly imploded and now just collapsed wreckage remaining, really pathetic, actually. I only saw a few folks leaving the Bush rally once it started raining. You guys were great troopers and the numbers really perked the President up :)
These are FANTASTIC! Thank you! 22,000 - he draws big crowds every time it seems!
great pics. what is tom hanks doing at the ralley?
first picture, left side, guy in red shirt.
Fabulous pictures, looks like everyone had a great time.
Fantastic post! Thanks!
I also saw it on C-SPAN. The crowd size & enthusiasm is sooo much better than Kerry's.
Hoping I can take my boys to see the President soon.
It started raining as W started to speak. I thought they would put some kind of covering over him, but he gave his speech in the rain with the rest of us. If he looks wet on CSPAN it's because he was wet. I can't help but think that if we were willing to stand in the rain to support him, he was more than willing to give his speech right there in the rain with us. After it was over I saw someone take his speech from the podium and all of the pages were covered in plastic.
Excellent pictures! You can be my quarterback anytime!
Looking for Wilson.
great pics....
Wonderful pictures!
That's an interesting point. Our President didn't think to cover himelf, but faced the elements side by side with you.
I don't see folded arms anywhere in the crowd. In many pictures of Kerry campaign stoips, you see people with arms folded as if they are bored out of their minds.
I'm heading to Columbia tomorrow to see Dubya...
If he gets a good reception in that liberal bastion, I'll feel confident that MO is Bush's for good!
Wonderful pictures. This is one of the most awesome rallies I have heard about. I love the idea of an invitaion petition with over 10,000 signatures. Way to go Poplar Bluffs.
