Me | 9/6/04

Posted on 09/06/2004 11:50:10 AM PDT by areafiftyone

Looks like the Kerry Camp is starting to get into the paranoid desperate mode.

To be released on Sept. 14th, "The Phony Fighter Pilot" is written by Hugh E. Scott a Vietnam veteran, ex-Air Force pilot and registered Republican.

Also the other on Sept. 13th is "Chain of Command" by Seymour Hersh

The Incoming from the Kerry camp starts on Sunday with the 60 minutes interview.

Do you think he'll be portrayed as a traitor?

That could turn out to be very poor timing.

I don't know. The dems have been trying to portray Bush as a coward and a few other choice words for the past 3 years now. I believe the people in the U.S. will make up their own mind. The Kitty Kelly book is like the Enquirer in hard cover. People do not care about her that much as the Dems think they do. Sure she made a big splash with the Frank Sinatra book, but he's was a movie star and that's different. These other two are (I am sure) put out there by the Kerry camp and they are the ones that we should be worried about.

The first one is a laughable psycho-schlock vanity production, very low budget. The second book has some 527 money behind it, judging by the better looking packaging. Ultimately it is just the same propaganda, but guess what?

The democrat party's complete control of the mainstream media is weakening. Just not effective anymore.

They will all join Michael Moore in an effort to portray democrats as whining, untrustworthy lightweights.

A word of warning. If you click on Phony Fighter Pilot link, prepare to be utterly outraged. They have a pic of Ronald Reagan and a caption that says, "In Memoriam of Ronald Reagan -- A True Compassionate Conservative"

I think sKerry's goons are going to come out with all kinds of trash, but the simple fact is that most voters will decide about the President based on his leadership the past four years, not what he did in the National Guard 30 years ago.

They will be wasting their money and their energy on a relatively moot point, because they can't legitimately criticize his leadership as President.

Didn't some other jackass write a disparaging book about our President and ended up committing suicide?

Hugh Scott needs to get out the tin foil. If the Kerry camp is depending on people like him, well, it's going to be a Bush landslide. Scott claims that Bush 41 was a coward because he got shot down and attacks Bush 43 because Bush 43 "didn't serve". He also claims that Ronald Reagan (who, unlike Bush 41 and like Bush 43, didn't "serve" overseas in WW II) is his hero. Sounds like somebody has a few screws loose.

You know your dealing with a moron why they think that Bush's middle name is 'Dub-ya'. Sounds like someone who likes to tongue Molly Ivans! This clowns whole book is based on an "official biography" on Bush's service that he read on the internet!

I believe the portion of the American public that is mostly apolitical had a belly full of this stuff with the michael moore movie. The left will begin to hurt themselves with this stuff from here on in. Just a hunch.

I think they wanted to save a lot of this stuff until the final weekend, but the Convention spooked them into dropping all their "October Surprises" early.

If Bush is still five points ahead on October 1st, Kerry is in deep, deep trouble.

I will read with fascination the account of Mr. Scott's background ... if it can be verified.

I am stunned by the "coincidence" of the release date and the first salvo of the combined James Carville/Big Media Smearathon against Bush, in the absense of Kerry signing his 180 or in any other way answering any of the charges against him for lying and treason.

I knew there were more books coming out besides Kitty Kelly and I finally got a hold of the sites by lurking on the other forums. I really didn't read much on the sites because I didn't want to get my blood pressure up.

Anyone remember Bill Pullman's heroic role as the President of the USA in "Independence Day" and what a stirring speech he gave about how the 4th of July would be for all humanity? The President in that movie pic was a fighter pilot turned politician. Reminds me so much of our current honored President, who is a fighter pilot. Too bad Fox, cable tv and satellite tv don't play that picture a little more.

Three slash books in two days, carville and the forehead's flying spittle, meltdowns on every editorial page in the country, maybe what's his name from noballs can have another 90 pound girl on to scream at. Sounds like a winning strategy to me.
