Wonder no more what gets the good ol' boys' juices flowing, and don't pay no never mind to them talking heads on this particular question. The answer is simply this: real men taking charge, talking straight, telling truth, and leaving the girlie men to fuss about the nuances of terrorist sensitivity.
Miller's fiery, brimstone-studded speech on the penultimate night of the Republican convention was a quintessential testosterone moment that got professional harrumphers flustered and swing voters inspired. While pundits wondered whether Zell was over the top, too hot or too tough, Heartland Americans (and not a few journalists who shall remain unnamed in the interest of job security) were high-fiving and arm-pumping yessssssssss.

I'm full of admiration for any writer who can use "penultimate" and "quintessential" in the same sentence.
Kathleen gets it, she always does!
I just got his book, Corps Values. It's excellent.
HIGHLY recommend it.
He's no "girly man". He pulled himself by the bootstraps and the Marines turned him into a man. I now wonder why he was ever a Demoncrat.
There was only one approach Zell could've taken! Anger, that's the key with a lot of "Joe 6-packs."

"But I suspect Miller's passionate recitation of Kerry's Senate voting record against most military spending, as well as his own voluntary exile from a party he claims puts partisanship above national security, produced a new wave of closet Republicans."
GOOD!
"The answer is simply this: real men taking charge, talking straight, telling truth, and leaving the girlie men to fuss about the nuances of terrorist sensitivity. "
BINGO! This is the bottom line and voters are starting to relaize this.
This woman was in no way a swing voter. She was using Democrat talking points.
Zell was defending Michelle Malkin's honor when he got so mad at Chris. He was still bristling from that outrageous "interview".
I always knew that deep in Americas soul the American people know the unvarnished truth!
Thanks for the new tagline!
"I now wonder why he was ever a Demoncrat"
Family tradition.
But Zell is a 'conservative' democrat that puts him on the 'outs' with the liberals.
Thanks for the new tagline!
Fact is, Republicans should finally "come out of the closet" and grow a spine. We've bought into the Newspeak lefty, loony, commie propaganda for FAR too long about "can't talk about politics and religion!"
BAAAAALLLLLONNNNEEEEYYY!!!! It's time Republicans stood up and started talking LOUD AND CLEAR about politics AND religion.
The Left has imposed their Newspeak propaganda that only pedophilia, homosexuality, diversity, multiculturalism, and Feminazi sensitivity trash are acceptable.
HOGWASH!! I'm with Zell, and I PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH!! It's time Republicans all over this country take the debate to the enemy!
"I'm full of admiration for any writer who can use "penultimate" and "quintessential" in the same sentence."
Ooooh, you beat me to it. My thoughts exactly. Nice one.
I was one of those journalist pumping my fist in the air saying yessssss! Incognito of course, less my enthusiasm jeopardise my position
wink wink.

What's up with all these great pro-Bush articles coming out of the Dailey Jewish Review? Are Jewish voters jumping ship over to our side or something?
Yet another clueless liberal. She needs to go help clean up some of the bus bombings in Israel or the schoolhouse in Russia and then tell us Zell was "totally overboard". He said exactly what needed to be said. What a great speech!
As Zell so rightly said, "I once was blind but now I see". His eyes were opened to the reality that his once "good ole boy" party of earlier years has been hijacked by modern day elitist thugs who are not truly concerned for the country, but rather their own power, advancement, and evil agenda. Many among the population still have scales covering their eyes and need to be awakened to this truth.
