It just gets worse...unbelievable.
"How could 180 people in a school still be missing? What happened to the bodies"
Many bodies were burned beyond recognition. Unlike the US casualties are not counted until they are identified. That is why, in Russia, casualty figures tend to rise as time goes by in situations like this. The opposite is true in the US.
A Russian paper said the local people said the death toll was higher (5 or 6 hundred I think) a few days ago. A lot of the people were decapitated and cut up by the bombs.
Maybe they are trying to match the body parts with DNA or something.
POTUS can get air time if he needs too...before hurricane Ivan I would hope.
Chads from Florida 2000 ballots covered in cheese go well with nails and fine wine. Thank you for your complements. The only other reason I can think of for the lack of coverage is perhaps on the eve of the 9/11 anniversary nobody wants to freak the nation out. But there are times when alarms need to be sounded...and this is one of those times.
I was trying to be realistic :-)
While I agree with you in a way...those steps will not be taken until..I fear...another large scale attack on the United States. However, in smaller rural communities where not much media attention is around...these steps you propose can easily be taken.
I wasn't quick enough. She's gone again already. I wonder what her next name will be.
LOL - so Geraldo is still hyping things that are empty? Will he ever change?
Bush has not ignored this. Neither has Cheney. Both have given statements. The press refuses to cover it. Even the President doesn't have the authority to force the press to report the news.
