Many newspapers and wire services around the world refuse to label anyone a terrorist. Even the suicidal men and women who strapped on bombs and took an entire Russian school hostage a few days ago are called militants, separatists and rebels.
The standoff turned tragic Friday when shooting started and some of the children ran for it and were shot in the back. Parents everywhere were horrified by the high death toll. Any school would be vulnerable to an armed gang of determined killers. President Bush correctly called it a ``grim reminder of the length to which terrorists will go to threaten this civilized world.''
A militant is someone willing to fight for a cause, in this case independence for Chechnya. Militants who kill child hostages for political reasons are terrorists - damned terrorists.

All of my in-laws are Kerry supporters.While they are nice people,I have reached the point where I have a hard time even being around them.
The war on terror is a minor matter to them and they give all the Democratic talking points;Bush is a liar, tax cuts for the wealthy,praise France and their socialistic medicine,blah,blah,blah.
They are so politically correct, I just want to scream. If a Muslim is detained for questioning, they "hope that it is not racial profiling." After 9/11 they made the nauseating statement about
"The Religion of Peace.
When I heard my sister-in-law say she admired what Kerry did after he came back from Viet Nam, I lost all respect for her.
My only hope is that they are in a
state that so far has a big Bush lead.
I am furious at what happened in Russia and I know there are millions like my in-laws with their touchy feely insane liberalism who refuse to acknowledge that we are in the fight of our lives against terrorism.
I never hear them say anything good about our soldiers or this country.They do however praise Europe and think that "we should help the rest of the world more and not be such isolationists."
Oh yes, and we should give more aid to illegal aliens.
The bottom line is that they are Methodist socialists. Ugh...I just need to stay away from them during this election season.

Whenever you see a mosque, whenever you see an imam, whenever you see the word Islam, you should think terrorist, murder of innocents, and the wish for your death. Yes, there are exceptions on the individual level, but these are people who haven"t read their Koran correctly. Only an idiotic Western culture would sit in a pan of gradually boiling water and hope this threat would go away. I respect the contributions of all of the world"s great religions, but Islam is not one of them!

I know the feeling. I have family members that worship Kerry. Yuck...... My mother is trying to figure out why I support President Bush. She will never listen to reason because Democrats can not reason. Truth is not in them. I love my mother but can not talk to her during elections.
