"As for 30% of the Pole visa holders overstaying their visa applications, you must realize that is a problem."
30% of Polish applicants don't get a visa. So it's our fault that US Embassy doesn't give them these visas and that's why our country can't get a visa free status...? It's a really strange situation for me.
"Many" Poles work illegally or stay longer in the USA...
OK, but they do it, because they can't do it legally.
Since more than four months Poland has been a EU member. We may travel all around EU without any visas and in many causes even without passports. We may work legal in UK and Ireland - in a few years we will be able to work legal in every EU country. We will get billions from EU founds.
Germany and France are our biggest trade partners.
We need visa to USA. 30% of applications are rejected. We didn't get any contracts in Iraq - It isn't the most important, but It would have been nice to get some. Even some kinds of Polish Vodka are forbidden in the USA. Poland doesn't get any aid from the US government.
I really like the USA, but I'm worried that pro American feelings in Poland won't be possible in the long therm If you at least don't change these stupid visa regulations.

Well it's inexcusable that some contracts were not given to Polish firms. I'll grant you that.
If as you say, the Polish can roam around Europe at will, then the U.S. will have to address the problem. I do not think the U.S. has it out for Poland's citizens.
In this day and age though, it's shocking to me that any nation would open it's borders to entrance without full documentation.
If you guys have a major terrorist attack within your borders, you'll quickly learn why the U.S. is having to deal with this as it has. And I sincerely hope that you don't.
Please understand that the United States simply cannot open it's doors to every world citizen that wants to come here. Please understand also, that the U.S. can only handle so many new immigrants. It tries to handle immigration quotas in a manner that gives everyone a fair shot, but immigrants to the United States have always had to wait for long periods. You are not the only ones being singled out.

"Many" Poles work illegally or stay longer in the USA... OK, but they do it, because they can't do it legally. That's not an excuse. Maybe I want your stereo, so should I break into your home and take it illegally, because "I can't do it legally"? I agree that our immigration laws are not applied fairly, and I would like to see all illegals and all foreigners who overstayed their visas kicked out. If it were up to me, I'd allow Poles to immigrate to this country before I'd allow Mexicans or Middle Easterners. But you're not earning any sympathy, and you're not doing a good job of making your case, when you seem to claim that it's justified for Poles to break American laws.
