Boy, this Hurricane Frances has to be the most overblown story in TV news history.
It keeps Bush out of the news.... Which is bad for Bush because he's saying some really good stuff.
It keeps Kerry out of the news... Which is good for Kerry because he bites it every time he is on camera.
It is a big storm... Which is bad for Florida because... Well you know.
Keeps the focus off of Kerry's sagging political run!
Rivera is making such a fool of himself over Frances.

He's stooped to interviewing another reporter. Everyone else has fled. Rick Leventhal has only agreed to the interview due to it being part of his job (and he's used to the wind already). I suspect that the yellow rain "tuxedo" will be the source of office humor at Fox for a long time.

The media seems disappointed it wasn't a bigger disaster.
I'm not so sure this is bad for Bush.
I think a false sense of security is bad for Bush because the electorate becomes complacent.
Any threat to people's security, whether a terrorist attack or a natural disaster such as this, makes people look for a strong stable leader.
Bush is precisely that kind of man.
Kerry is NOT.

I agrre. I'm so bereft if I can't follow OJ for another four years, and Kobie. My word, I will go into melt-down mode if I can't follow these bullshiite soap operas. I'm so desperate thar I'm searching the Library of Congress on the Lindburgh their child's kidnapping! WE need more of this kind of news for at least 20 years. BTW, where is Jeffrey Dalmer? Charles Manson? Sheesh, can't the media just do their jobs?
