What is the National March Against Terror event?
The National March Against Terror event is a nationwide demonstration of the American people's commitment to win the war on terrorism, support for our troops, and pay homage to the victims of terror. All participants are volunteering their time, energy, and resources to make this event possible.

What is the Purtpose of the NMAT?
The National March Against Terror (NMAT) event is inviting every American to give some of their time, energy, and resources for the purpose of sending three messages around the world: 1) To the terrorists - No Surrender To Terrorism, 2) To our fellow citizens - Support Our Troops, and 3) To the civilized world - Honor The Victims Of Terror By Staying Vigilant.

Call your friends, your neighbors and your relatives and hold a NMAT rally/vigil in your town!

OK, chapter members. We have all now had time to recover from the convention and the candlelight vigil. Time to focus on our next event, which is coming up next Saturday, Sept 11.

Tentative plans are to meet at Bryant Park (northwest corner of the park; southeast corner of Sixth and 42nd) at 12 noon. We will do a sidewalk march down to Union Square.

I am trying to get some other groups to join with us.

Please let me know if you can come, and if so, what size T-shirt you wear (only Large and Extra-Large available).

Modesto CA Support Our Troops Group will have a rally on Sat. Sept. 11th - 11 am to 2 pm.
Standiford Avenue and Sisk Rd (SW corner of Vintage Faire Mall).

This group has manned the same corner every Saturday since mid-March 2003. Passing motorists are presented with flags of all the branches of the Armed Forces, Military Campaign Flags, POW/MIA and of course Old Glory and signs offering Support of Our Troops.

At the 9/11/04 rally a book will be available for signing and sending a message to our troops, patriotic music, and fellowship with area Vets and military family members.

Gonna do a 2fer next Saturday - Modesto then the FResno FReeper picnic. Y'all come, hear?

There is a rallyin Orange County, Ventura County and Ted Hayes is organizing the LA event. He hadn't put it up yet as he just returned from Greece where is daughter won a gold medal in hurdles!
