We need to get this kind of thing off the TV sets of America and back into the motels where it belongs.

The whole thing is rather silly. But still, what was the NFL thinking when they hired Janet Jackson for the halftime show? Not exactly a good match for the demographics of the audience.

Why can't they stick with acts like The Charlie Daniels Band, George Thorogood or Toby Keith?

Actually, the question should be: "What was the NFL thinking when they hired MTV to produce the halftime show?"

Look, if you're gonna flash a private part (PP), on national TV, on a SUNDAY night, you better make sure it's accepted by the community. A 40 year old PP is not a "community" PP.

A 20 year old PP, now that belongs to the community!!....Chris Rock.

That was one of the funniest things I've ever heard!

Maybe because a huge portion of NFL fans don't like country music.

$550,000? That was what, 20-seconds of a single commercial during the Super Bowl?

I don't know, they have Rather on evenings Monday through Friday. He's the biggest exposed boob I've ever seen.

Okay, okay...

If the FCC didn't crack down on this, it would be open season for every starlet wanna be on television.

If folks want to see this kind of clean fun, they have an outlet for it. Broadcast television isn't it, IMO.

I've got to say that it has irritated me that thirty to forty somethings have been creating tripe for our kids in the guise of rap musis for around fifteen years now. That crap isn't what was supposed to be protected by the U.S. Constitution.

I'd have impossed limits on what could be marketed to children years ago.

we continue to believe that nothing in the Super Bowl broadcast violated indecency laws."

Since children were watching, I'd say CBS is a miserable failure to continue to take this view.

This is so funny! Football used to be family entertainment. Now you have to rush the children out of the room when it comes on.

You're right. But those others are. Thorogood should have been left out of my point.

CBS, really means Communist Bull Sh-t. Jackson and Timberlake, the DNC role models for today's youth. I think they both have an identity problem. May God help us all, if we ever have to depend on these types of people to defend America. I think people need to listen to the song by Charlie Daniel's, " Simple Man". Some people have put the "Good Book" away, and their living by the law of the jungle and not the law of the land. I think that sums up what you and I both believe. Bush/Cheney 2004
