As details emerge of the three-day siege of a Russian school by Islamic terrorists – which reportedly resulted in more than 200 dead and 700 injured – it is becoming apparent that the operation closely followed the terror roadmap laid out in issue 10 of Al Battar, al-Qaida's online training manual.

Monsters! Animals! Wipe them off the face of the civilized world! And the Democrats claim we must appease this sort of evil. God help us if this sort of horror happens in our country. May George Bush be President should that happen. May it never happen...I am beside myself about this. It is worse than the Munich Olympics slaughter of 1972. Children! May these "holy warriors" rot in hell for eternity. This is the true face of Islamic jihad. These are savage, ignorant, hate-filled, bloodthirsty barbarians, NOT freedom fighters!

You conclusion is undoubtedly correct but it does not follow from the premise: "avoid looking at women" has nothing to do with misogyny. A man looking at a helpless woman in those circumstances begins feeling sorry for her.

a misogynist is a man who 'hates' women...Islam wants to subjugate over half the world's population (assuming that women out number men) for backward 14th century reasons...

Given the potential for this type of terrorism to occur here, our government should make it a point to provide us with training based on what is in this terrorism manual. Being prepared is half the battle.

We should review this manual, study it and the terrorists' methodologies, and prepare ourselves accordingly. Because this IS war. They want victims who will boo-hoo, and die on que. And once you acquiesce.......

Boss, did you hear a word of what I said? Merely repeating what YOU said is not a conversation. Especially if one pointed out to you that what you had said was problematic.

If sympathy with the hostages was what the primer was trying to warn against, then why wouldn't it read "avoid looking at women and children "

The will to act is the other half. There is much one can do in your own neighborhood to prepare a plan of action both before, during, and after an attack.

At the very least the Islamic community should be given fair warning today that it would be safer for them to leave the country now, rather than later.

No one can be certain what the general population would do, or is even capable of doing should our country be targeted again. These are not the sanest of times.

You're welcome, softengine. I've been pushing 'The Cain Sanction' for a few months now, but not getting much feedback.

Because in most cases they do not take children hostage. Plus, children are usually scared to plead for their lives --- in contrast to adults.
