September 4, 2004 -- Tragic, despicable, inhumane, cowardly, barbaric, evil and astonishing the deaths of a hundred or more people including children in a siege at a Russian school sparked strong words for the hostage-takers from world leaders. "This is yet another grim reminder of the lengths to which terrorists will go to threaten the civilized world," President Bush told a campaign rally in Wisconsin yesterday. British Prime Minister Tony Blair wrote to Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying, "It is hard to express my revulsion at the inhumanity of terrorists prepared to put children and their parents through such suffering."
World leaders focused on support and solidarity for Russia.
"Killing of these innocent people is an evil, despicable act of barbarism. The fact that many of them appear to have been young children murdered in cold blood is simply horrible," said the president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi.
A commission statement said it "regrets that the hostage crisis could not be solved peacefully, but the blame cannot be put on anyone else but those who committed this heinous crime."
Chief Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls said news of the tragedy was received with sadness at the Vatican.

Bush is calling them terrorists. That's a start. Now if he could only utter the 'I' word.

The Islamo-demons shot a lot of these Russian kids in the back. Cowardice has been raised to a new level.

In the meantime:
"European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana on Friday criticized Israeli threats against Syria following the Be'er Sheva suicide bombings. "

I guess the EU wants to extend sympathy, but it doesn't want to anyone actually go after the terrorists.

I'm not shocked. Sad. Angry. Prayerful.
But not shocked. And I won't be shoked when it happens here.
I WILL be shocked when we take strong action against these islamofacists, illegal immigrants, etc.

How does one conduct ethnic cleansing --- that destroys only the lunatics among the Muslims?
It may not be possible...
I would suggest that the "moderate Muslims" clean house ---- before we are forced by self preservation to destroy the house.

The hijackings and this outrage are more than enough for Putin to put a VERY big hammer down, and he will.

I wonder why the world can't get itself "shocked" about the islamoterrorist killings of Israeli children, killings that happen all the time.

Russia may someday need more parking space. The Chechnyans might want to think about that.

"...to put a VERY big hammer down, and he will."Back in his KGB days, the "hammer" for something like this was not infrequently the liquidation of entire towns.

Kerry didn't even mention terrorism, never mind tell us what he plans to do about it, in his latest midnight speech " A New Course for America".
Apparently a new course would not include fighting terrorism.
A New Course For America (Kerry Speech: NO MENTION OF even the word TERRORISM or SECURITY)
