September 3, 2004--Cedar Rapids Heinz Kerry Hammers Healthcare
The Democrats chose a different plan of attack to compete with the Bush rally in Cedar Rapids. Teresa Heinz Kerry met with about half a dozen people at the home of Linn County Supervisor Linda Langston. The small group talked about their concerns with the nation's healthcare system.
Topping Heinz Kerry's list of concerns are restricted coverage for low-income people, the growing cost for prescription drugs, and adequate healthcare for childern. She says healthcare is one of the most important issues in this election.
"We can not have healthcare becoming a double whammy on people's lives, where they not only lose a job but they lose their protection." Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Senator John Kerry.
She also says Americans should be able to buy prescription drugs from Canada and other nations because of the outrageous prices here in the U.S.
"The pharmacy benefits managers, all of which are not the friends of people. They have no risk capital. They make huge profits just by buying and selling drugs to hospitals, to pharmacies, and to others. " Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Senator John Kerry.
Teresa Heinz Kerry will be touring Iowa today and tomorrow making campaign stops in Des Moines, Davenport, and Mason City.
I thought the Dems had muzzled her?
The last election the Dems tried to scare the senior citizens with misinformation. Looks like they are up to their old tricks.
That's far from THK's only problem!!
Watching THK try and relate to a bunch of Iowans with money problems would be more painful than watching a really bad reality TV show. Fortunately for us, reality has nothing to do with THK or her gigolo.
So they want to import cheaper drugs instead of working to make domestics cheaper? Yeah, that will solve things!
Damn, I wish that were the real title! Alas, it is not.
Who let that bimbo Evita Heinz Catsup out of the liquor cabinet again!?
"The small group talked about their concerns...."
They are being very careful about where she is allowed to appear would be my take on this. Small, supportive groups, not much coverage. Good thing the woman is a billionaire.
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?
I'm glad they took off her muzzle evrerytime she speaks it's like gold for our side.
Keep on talking Tereeesa. You're so good for gigilo john.
Someone would actually let that weirdo in their house?
As the article says, "Teresa Heinz Kerry met with about half a dozen people at the home of Linn County Supervisor Linda Langston." In the world of presidential campaigning I don't think you can get more muzzled than banishment to somebody's house with a half dozen people.
But hey, THK knows her prescription drug! :-)
The "outrageous prices" of prescription drugs in America are a direct result of John Edwards and the thousands of lawyers just like him.
I wonder when it will happen that the liberals get that distinct link. When all the docs go on strike because of malpractice insurance premiums? Than where will Skerry go to get his botox? Where will mama T go for her meds?
The only thing that will make health care affordable to anyone--except billionaires like Teresa--is to eliminate trial lawyers--like John Edwards--from the health care system.
As long as plaintiffs' awards are unlimited, health care will be unaffordable.
This fact is as inescapable as the fact that cancer will kill you if you don't treat it. Unless each of these facts is faced, the result of each will remain predictable.

Knowing how long it takes for her to put anything out with that uber fake accent, this must have taken an hour at least to get out of her mouth.
She should restrict her statements to two words or less. Like "Shove it."
