I'd prefer to see them use an old IRA method of getting info: Use an electric drill with a large wood boring bit on the kneecaps. Reawaken as necessary, and when both knees are gone, administer alternating solutions of salt and acid to the wounds.

Or just smash their teeth out and stuff a tennis ball in their mouth - one settles right down having to breathe through their nose only.....
