EU wants explanation from Moscow on hostage storming
03 September 2004 = = The EU refused Friday to rush to judgment on how Russian authorities acted in the bloody end to the hostage crisis in north Ossetia, but said it wants Moscow's explanation of the tragedy.
"It is premature now, without knowing the exact situation, to make a judgment on the way the Russian authorities acted," said Dutch Foreign Minister Bernard Bot, whose country currently holds the European Unionpresidency.
"We first have to evaluate the situation with the knowledge of all the details," he told reporters at the end of the first day of a two-day meeting of EU foreign ministers in the southern Netherlands.
But in a later statement Friday evening Bot said the EU will be seeking an explanation from Moscow.
"All countries in the world need to work together to prevent tragedies like this. But we also would like to know from the Russian authorities how this tragedy could have happened."
The comments came after around 100 were killed and over 550 injured as crack troops stormed a school in southern Russia, freeing children and adults held hostage for almost three days by militants demanding independence for Chechnya.
Earlier in the day Bot called the denouement of the hostage crisis in the town of Beslan a "deep human tragedy" and said it appeared that authorities "considered very carefully this situation before deciding to take this action."
Speaking following afternoon talks, he added that "as figures are coming in it turns out that the drama is even greater than I thought."
He notably said that "perhaps at a later date" European leaders could discuss "with our Russian friends" the possibility of creating a joint anti-terrorism force.
"We should also eventually look into what has happened and discuss ... measures that can be taken to prevent such situations from occurring," he added.

Chechnya is a Russian autonomous republic in the Northern Caucausus, adjacent to the Caspian Sea. Ethnically, it is Circassian and Muslim in religion. Chechens are famous for hating.
The Czech Republic (or Czechia, as it is sometimes referred to) is located in Central Europe, is ethnically Slavic and overwhelmingly Catholic. Czechs are famous for brewing great beer and delicious pastries.

It's becoming time to depopulate Chechnya, and start over with Russian citizens living there. Give the current Muslim population there 72 hours to leave, those who are Orthodox can stay.

So Mr. Bot wants to know how such a tragedy could have occurred. Well, that's simple. Allow fundamental Islam to take root in an area and then attempt to resist its complete takeover. Guaranteed loss of innocent human life every time.
So the crapweasels in Brussels demand an explanation from an independent sovereign nation (in contrast to sniveling satrapies like Belgium, France, and the rest) on how it responded to a terrorist attack?

It wasn't the authorities that resolved this. It was the local commander. Sometimes a man's got to do what a man's got to do. EU could get their act in gear sometime.
As unfortunate and tragic as this last week has been for the Russian people, I am sure that now they can see our side of the coin in regard to our actions after 9/11.

Advise to Putin after you eliminate the Islamofascists in your area, please do the same in Brussels, Paris, Madrid and Berlin.
Russia has been through the ringer. What were they to do, wait until the terrorists killed all the hostages? This was a no win situation.
I've got to say that the EU ranks right down there with the terrorists if they are now going to rape Russia from the back after it already being raped from the front.
This makes me quite angry. What would the EU have done differently? Oh yes I forgot, surrender.
Having access to natural resources is never a guarantee of wealth. Japan and the UK are wealthy but have virtually no resources. S America is blessed with resources but is still "developing". The Saudi people ARE starting to take notice that their kings are not exactly good moral Moslems.

President Putin, may I recommend:
Russia's children were being held and killed by remorseless savages. Days before they killed innocent civillians onboard not one, but two, civillian passenger airliners. Prior to that, they killed innocent civilians at a bus stop.
They began executing our children, emergency responders and soldiers as wounded were being evacuated.
We went in and killed most of them before they had the chance to kill everyone inside. The terrorists who survived will be tourtured until they tell us everything they know, twice. If they die in the process, $hit happens. If they survive, we are going to execute them.
Tomorrow we are going to storm their bases, leadership and supporters. We are going to kill 1,000 of theirs for every one of our children who were killed. We are going to kill 750 of theirs for every child that was wounded. We are going to kill 500 of theirs for every child who they made part of this.
As far as the EU goes, we don't particularly care what you think, as it is our children who are injured and dead. It is our families who's lives have been destroyed. And we will ensure that justice is served.
A final note, EU, either you are part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Quit being a part of the problem and stay the F**K out of our way.
Is the EU upset because Putin didn't capitulate to the terrorists fast enough?
