I can't believe it. They have changed the story again, this time to say that "many in Bush's audience booed".

Unbelievable.

Everyone let Drudge know the AP has blatantly lied here. He has a link on his site with the AP lie about the audience booing. He needs to correct it.

What's worse is that the media will play up those boo's to be some big-assed "proof" of "Republican mean-spiritedness." Naturally, this is the same press that saw nothing wrong with Leftists cheering the death of President Ronald Reagan.

What's silly is that proof of what happened should be SO easy to obtain!! Local affiliates must have been there, private citizens probably had cameras rolling. I'll bet there were a smattering of boos -- let's face it, there are always a few bad apples -- that GWB may not have even heard.

Sick.

Trusty, is there any way you can get through to them as an eyewitness. This is just wrong.

"The president made no comment on that and continued with his rally speech."

Did AP make mention that the president made no comment when a couple of dem crazies interrupted his speech last night? Didn't think so.

Is there no consideration that if indeed there was boo-ing, it may have been for the heart attack?

No one on the conservative side wants to see physical harm come to Clinton. As disgusting as he is, he was still our president for most of the 1990's, and believe it or not, we respect the office of the President (even if that president is Clinton and he didn't have any respect for the office he held.

If the AP want to make up "boos for Clinton", I think that their belated real feelings are surfacing. It's the leftist and communist and people like democrats that rejoice at the ill fate of the other side. There would be Dancing In The Streets if our Vice-President suffered a heart attack and actually died. And the AP would report it was a celebration of his life.

Demand AP to correct the story if it's not factual. Also call any media source that runs the AP Story and express the dislike for them running slanderous articles.

This line is no longer included at the boston.com link you provided. Did they remove this comment too??? http://www.boston.com/news/politics/president/bush/articles/2004/09/03/audience_boos_as_bush_offers_best_wishes_for_clintons_recovery/

Well, I thought, and still do, that Clinton was a sorry SOB of a President, but, my pop had a tripple by-pass back in the early 70's when such things were still experimental (they gave him 5 years). And I've had to deal with all the things he's had to go through since.

If you're predisposed of such breakdowns, they don't go away after the surgery, other systems are affected.

We were lucky that God gave pop the subborn gene, and its been a good one since pop has outlived all the doctors that preformed his by-pass and several others since, but he's had to deal with a host of other somewhat related maladies since.

So, as much as I hated Clinton as a president, I don't wish what he's going through on anyone.

It ain't fun.
