I think this strategy clearly shows that they are going to attack Cheney, hope for Kitty Kelly to say W used cocaine and paid for an abortion. Time to stay on our knees and tell God that we want W as our leader.

investigated the charges of the Swift Boat assassins found them to be full of lies and half-truths,

Do I read this correctly? Is this an admission that Kerry's service is full of half-truths?

Hey Susan, it's 2004. Nobody cares how your loser candidate self destructed 16 years ago.

For once, I'd like Susan Estrich, or any other pathetic Democrat hack, to tell the nation exactly what lies and half-truths have been hurled at their candidate. I assume she's talking about the Swift Boat Vets' ads. Well, we all know that Kerry can clear up everything by signing a releasae of his military record. He has refused to. Any erosion he's experiencing by these charges, which for all we know are actually TRUE, is his own danged fault.

Why is it ok for them to air those Moveon.org ads, and Farenheit 911, and not ok for the swift boats? These people are just insufferable. But, I know I'm being Captain Obvious.

By the way, I need to contribute, I almost forgot.

Swift Boat assassins? Didn't she mean Baby Killers, Rapists and War Criminals? Come on, Susan, catch up with your candidate.

I know how it works. Lies move numbers.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzt

You are incorrect.

Truth moves numbers. Lie are easily and quickly dispelled. If the Swift Vet charges are lies, then Kerry can dispel them by releasing his military records. And even if the charges are not refuted exactly, the act of releasing the records indicates that he has nothing to hide, just like GWB did.

It is time for O'Neill to sue her and produce his discovery. I have a feeling he is ready for this witch.

"The word on the street is that Kerry himself was ready to fire back the day the story broke, but that his campaign, believing the charges would blow over if they ignored them, counseled restraint. "

Show real leadership dosen't it ?

Dems might just ask themselves who would be Kerry's advisors if he were to get elected... THEY are the ones who would be deciding how the country runs...

I am wondering if they are going to pull out the bogus abortion claim.

having watched as another August smear campaign, full of lies and half-truths, takes its toll in the polls.

And a 25 year old DUI citation released four days before the election doesn't apply here?

Still find it hard to believe the libs can't see that it's the Swifties story and long list of facts that is getting to sKerry. Why they don't insist on sKerry releasing his records and then do a major press briefing? If sKerry has nothing to hide, as he says, it would blow the whole race wide open again. There is ONLY one reason sKerry won't ever do this. It would expose he's an absolute fraud. The Swiftboat Vets have seen the real John sKerry and have told the truth.

This'll be interesting. The Dims and their media allies have thrown everything they can at Bush the last year and it didn't work.

I guess this means we'll be treated to more tales of the Air National Guard. (Yawn)

Lee Atwater later apologized to me for that, too, on his deathbed.

What??!! Estrogen showed up at Atwater's deathbed? What did she do, slip past security? I can see it now . . . Estrogen creeping into Atwater's room, grabbing him by the you-know-what, squeezing and twisting viciously while screaming, "APOLOGIZE, YOU SOB! APOLOGIZE!"

Will it be the three, or is it four or five, drunken driving arrests that Bush and Cheney, the two most powerful men in the world, managed to rack up? (Bush's Texas record has been sealed. Now why would that be? Who seals a perfect driving record?)

After Vietnam, nothing is ancient history, and Cheney is still drinking. What their records suggest is not only a serious problem with alcoholism, which Bush but not Cheney has acknowledged, but also an even more serious problem of judgment. Could Dick Cheney get a license to drive a school bus with his record of drunken driving? (I can see the ad now.) A job at a nuclear power plant? Is any alcoholic ever really cured? So why put him in the most stressful job in the world, with a war going south, a thousand Americans already dead and control of weapons capable of destroying the world at his fingertips.

Susan Estrich has not gone ballistic, but supernova! However, I'm not worried about what they find; I'm worried about what they make up.

Go for it!

Those guys will come across as bigger kooks than they already do.

To ordinary Americans George W. Bush comes across as real, warm, honest. On his best day, Kerry is cold, calculating, elitist snob.

Kerry's labor union allies are barfing in their shoes with this guy.

Bring the activists on. We'll see the real face of the Democrat party!

Before he became a Christian, George W. probably did a lot of things he now regrets. That's part of becoming a Believer -- your sins are washed away.

No matter what the left throws at him, GWB's base will stand by him because they know his heart.
