Look...if this were a political stunt...it would actually help Kerry. It would take attention away from Bush, who is highlighted because he just finished his convention. It would slow the bump he will get.

Is it true his medical records were never released during his presidency? The woman on Fox News announced that. I hate when they sometimes refer to him as President. Anyone just tuning in would have heard " President on his way to surgery....

I'm no expert, but I've seen this several times and I believe it is a side effect of the meds. I say this because sometimes people "forget" their meds and wake up for a while.

If he's not going to have surgery till Tuesday, why is he staying in the hospital now? That's almost unheard of. If he's so sick he has to be monitored, etc., he would have the surgery sooner . . . if he's stable, they wouldn't admit him till the morning of surgery.

Hillary did not "take off" to Upstate New York anyway. She was in Auburn, New York yesterday WITHOUT Bill, as planned. Bill was supposed to meet her at the State Fair in Syracuse today. She was scheduled to hold a luncheon there, as she has for the past four years.

My guess is she skipped the luncheon and is in transit back to New York City. Should take 3 to 4 hours from Syracuse by car.

I only lost vision for a few minutes and almost didn't tell my Doctor. Yes I had a mini stroke. Guess I was lucky to get this warning. Learned yesterday I need surgery on right carotid artery.

As to the analysis...

1) Kerry just attacked Bush in a stump speech that he is giving as we speak. They just showed the start of it on CNN. He is attacking the GOP convention.

2) It could hurt Bush...even though Clinton will live....because it takes attention away from Bush, who just finished a convention, and slows the bump he will get.

I never had heart trouble or high blood pressure, but at 10AM on March 18,2003, on my day off, while reading through FR forum I had a "no doubt about it" heart attach. The pain was an ache in my left arm for a half hour. A heaviness in my chest. Then a sharp chest pain that shot down my left arm and lodged in my left palm. It stayed there. I also had deep achy chest pain in my left chest. I had trouble Stanton and walking. Went to my bed and lay on my left side. I Was aware of what was happening.

Hubby called 911 and 20 min later I was in emergency. I became nauseous and started throwing up. They were warming up the paddle on the way to the hospital. I was aware of everything going on but too weak to respond much. At the hospital they cut my clothes off me and stuck an aspirin under my toung. Got IVs ready and took me off to get a stent. I asked the nurse in emergency if I was going to die and she said "not on my shift".

I could see my poor husband walking back and forth trying to see what they were doing to me. I was given morphine at that point and the stent was secured in place. I never did get to talk to him, BUT I WAS NEVER AFRAID. Never Scared. I was hospitalized 3 days sent home and back at work by April 31.

A Clinton state funeral would be a great boost for Kerry. Kerry (not Bush) would get to be the main speaker. It would give Kerry the national spotlight to talk about his Viet Nam heroism and remind Americans that anyone who didn't fight in Viet Nam is pond scum unfit to be President.

I wouldn't put it past them. The guy lobbed bombs to distract from his problems in the past, he used the Oval Office sink as a catchrag. That said, even if it is coincidental, they will play it for all its worth politically, and shamelessly so.
