Unless you forgot to mention that you support Republicans but hold your nose while doing so because you don't embrace what they do.

I think that goes without saying.

The larger the majority the Republicans have, the better chance of getting what I want (as in, "Leave Me and My Stuff Alone!"). Along the way, Olympia Snowe Republicans are bound to show up. She's nuts, but she and others like her give Republicans the majority, and the majority decides which bills will be heard, and which won't.

Snowe and her ilk work against what I want, but they enable people who work for what I want to have greater control of the agenda.

We agree except I would make the case about Bush, not just Snowe and her ilk.

But generally speaking, you and I want the same things.
