I'm more the "South Park Republican" type myself. A MYOB conservative, not a social conservative.
Oh,, so not a consevative in any real sense of the word. Because the current conservatives most definately don't mind their own business.
I'm guessing you are more like a "I see the idiocy of liberalism and the Democratic party so I must be a conservative" conservative.
Not being a liberal doesn't make someone a conservative and not being a Democrat doesn't make someone a Republican.
The political and ideological spectrum is wider than that.
