Jeez this is about the third time I have heard Kerry and the media lap dogs mention he did two tours of duty.
just exactly how long was he in the military?
and doesn't two tours usually mean that person was actually in country.
This oddball statement needs some talking points.

This has been answered many times here on FR. For those in the Navy, serving in the waters off Vietnam (Gridley) was a tour of duty & considered to be 'in country'. The 2 tour item is factual.
