Too bad the President can't order him to release his records on the senate and military issues.

To liberals, everything about Kerry is off limits except that he is Not Bush. I think if they could, they would change his name legally to John Not Bush.

Botox and Dudwards---what a pair.
Last night they had the CNN media on-hand to cover their midnight rally.... looks like the campaign equivalent of jury nullification by taking the sizzle off the RNC last convention speach.

Supposedly, we are only being allowed by the DNC to critique his 5th grade homework assignments. Any other scrutiny would constitute a mean-spirited personal attack, somehow.

Is there no limit to Republican slanders? Is David Limbaugh REALLY trying to say here that Kerry has been a US Senator. There must be some investigative reporter in some main stream press organization that can look into and put the lie to this scurrilous claim.

For Kerry, the truth (about him) in any phase of his life is a SMEAR...since it can never live up to the fantasies he tells about himself.

Maybe I am off on this, but the more the Democrats cry foul over criticism of Kerry, the more it makes it look like he has something to hide.

To be sure, if you are on the left, you would believe that comparing Bush to Hitler, stating the Iraq War was concocted, etc. are perfectly justified and neutral statements. Hatred can blind that way. But, if you are one of those who haven't yet decided, those attacks on Bush would not seem moderate. They would seem like they were directed towards shocking you out of voting for Bush. Now, the Swift Boat Vets have leveled what appears to be credible charges. The Bush campaign starts to attack Kerry's voting record and all Kerry can do is cry foul.

In short, I believe that most Americans have a fundamental sense of fairness, i.e. believe in a fair fight. I just don't see how Kerry can expect to get any sympathy in light of the fact either he or his surrogates started the fight and selected the tactics.

Crying foul may play to Kerry's base, but the base is already voting for him.

While GWBush is proud of his record as President and isn't afraid to talk about it on the campaign trail, it's quite obvious John Kerry isn't proud of his 19 year Senate record or his years as an anti-war activist. The silence is deafening. Kerry is, however, very satisfied with the 15 months of endless personal attacks on the credibility, integrity and character of the President by the Dems 527`s. If you take away the 527 ads run against Bush and paid for by leftwing billionares like by George Soros and Peter Lewis, Bush would be riding higher in the polls and significantly ahead of his opponent.

Expect an appalling amount of lying subterfuge from the far-left Dems just to keep the focus off of Kerry's record.

Billary is just loving this!!! :-)

Well the senate record is a part of public record and the longer Kerry ignores the 600# gorilla(his military/medical records) the more damage he incurs...
With no press conference addressing the Swiftee allegations, Kerry is writing his own obituary...
You can put a fork in this turkey,
cause he's D O N E !

You are absolutely correct, my mistake, they need to release his senatorial absent without leave records!

Between the “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth” and Zell's new “Senate Vote Veterans for Truth” Kerry is in for a long campaign

Bottom line:

Kerry knows he lied about his service in Nam, his crew mates know he lied, his C.O. knows he lied, his fellow officers know he lied and now everyone in America knows he lied about his service and his testimony in 1971

The guy is a self-admitted war criminal and a pathological liar and all the posturing by his minions won't change that fact!

The guy has more baggage than Delta Airlines!

So don't be surprised if the election is a landslide!

Bush has always run a very disciplined campaign and that is why they were not worried about what the polls were saying. They were saving the best for last (Kerry's senate record). Bush 41 painted Dukakis as a tax and spend liberal and the Bush campaign will paint Kerry as a socialist liberal.

I cannot believe the Dems didn't see this coming during the Dem nomination process. He has one of the most liberal Senate records. The Dems deserve to have this happen to them. They prided themselves on not having to fight and spend money during the nomination process and look what that has gotten them.

In 2000, Bush went through a battle during the RNC nomination process with McCain and it only made him battle tested.

Kerry has never gone through a fight and he is showing it now. Bush will continue to pour it on.
