I have seen better conduct from eleven year old Boy Scouts than some adults. Points to ponder.

My question is why didn't little johnny serve in the Military he was 22 in 75, so he could have been in Vietnam.

Guess he used his draft evading skills to avoid service just as bill the boob.

So the question is where was John?

The Democrat Party gave up all rights to question ANYONE's military service in 1992.

And, the Boy Scouts, unlike the Democrat Leadership, has adult supervision.

The Boy Scouts should be the charity of the Republicans. The Boy Scouts develop character, encourage belief in a supreme being, Patriotism, and moral development. These things are poison to the libs.
Please do not jump on me if I overstated or misstated the goals because I was trying to make a point here.

I've been in the military. I am in the Boy Scouts. One thing both organizations have in common. The quality of leaders is directly linked to the fact that it is all volunteer, and there are standards to meet.

Well, dude, you tried. I was involved with Scouts for many years and consider the experience one of the defining and most rewarding periods of my life. Did you know Bill Clinton was a Boy Scout for a while? Bet he was damn good at tying knots. Good post.

In the current issue of SCOUTING Magazine, Dennis Hassert, our fantastic Speaker of the House of Representatives and third in line for the Presidency, was noted to have recieved the Silver Buffalo Award. The award is presented for outstanding service to America's youth.

How does this medal compare with three Owies?

Hassert is in for the long haul and has not cut and run like Kerry.
