On Hardball right now, David Gergen suggesting that Zell Miller is a Southern racist and Laura taking him to task for that characterization.
Crowd surrounding set is partisan all pro-Democrat, and they are booing her and cheering Gergen.
Come on, aren't there any Republicans that can show up in Herald Square? Where are the Protest Warriors?
I just came on to see if someone else had noticed just that.
She was angry and she put that loser Bergen in his place.
I thought she did a great job and for the most part, matthews let her talk.
Gergan is a huge pile of sh*t. He is going completely outer bound. Is this how he always is.
The partisan crowd is especially annoying. They are cheerleading every dumb statement one of the Liberals utters.

That actually surprised me. Matthews gave her a change to respond.
At one point he had told her to hold on and she was like, "Chris" and gave him this look like she was going to slap him.
Or was that just wishful thinking?
Laura was great. Gergen was a toad. He said Zell was saying Kerry was "nearly treasonous." However, Zell said he was not questioning the Democrats patriotism, he was questioning their judgment.
Check out any movie or television show: any time they want a villain, they cast him as a Southern speaking white man.
A Southern speaking white preacherman is an even better villain.
David Gergan has crossed the line.

She was awesome. I think Chrissy is trying to get payback for getting his @ss handed to him last night by letting the bussed in thugs scream over Laura.
ANY republican that goes on that shills show deserves what they get. If they stop going on his show it will go down the toilet.
When Alan Simpson was on earlier, the crowd kept booing and he called them a few names, which they didn't like. Meanwhile, Sissy was egging on the crowd.

Gee, if Zell is such a southern racist, it's certainly amazing that during Clinton's convention they had Zell deliver a keynote speech.
Who would have guessed that Mark Shields would wind up being the more "conservative" analyst from the old McNeil - Lehrer show?

He also said Miller's speech was not one of anger, it was one of hate. Laura went apeshit and pointed her finger at Gergen and refused to let him talk over her. She said Zell was an honorable guy and a nice guy and his people in Georgia love him. And that it was disgraceful to make these comments about Miller's speech when Hardball's panel gave Ted Kennedy a free pass.
Admirable performance by Ms. Ingraham. I was impressed.
Matthews method is too intimidate those who are not pro broadcasters or polished speakers with rapid-fire questioning meant to confuse. Laura is extremely agile in her communications ability and is pretty much immune to this tactic.
