(IsraelNN.com) Nineteen persons were killed by Arab terror in the month of August 2004. Others were wounded, including persons who sustained permanent disabilities.
August 11 15:05 A terrorist detonated a bomb at an IDF checkpoint in the Kalandia area on Jerusalems northern border. Two persons were killed and about twenty injured. Among the injured were six border policemen, with three sustaining serious injuries. Most of the injured were PA residents. (FATAH/al-Aqsa Brigade) [2]

August 13 AM The security officer of the Shomron community of Itamar was murdered by terrorist gunfire as he responded to a terrorist infiltration in the community. Shlomo Miller was laid to rest in Jerusalems Har Menuhot Cemetery. He is survived by a wife and seven children. [3]

August 31 14:50 Two suicide bombers blew themselves up 30 seconds apart on board the number 6 and 12 buses on Reger Boulevard near Beer Sheva City Hall. 16 persons were killed and over 100 injured. (HAMAS) [19] All victims were residents of Beer Sheva except where indicated otherwise
