David Gergen is on my list "People To Slap When I See Them In Person." Wouldn't THIS topic make an interesting thread ;^D
To: Petronski
Ahhhhh, that explain why Woodward named Gergen "Deep Throat"!

Just heard R. Reagan (refuse to use his given name) say that the raised podium in MSG is 'evocative' of the pile of rubble at Ground Zero. Ron Prescott is "evocative" of the place where I relieve my bladder every morning.

In fairness to Lowry, he stated that last night as his opinion and did not get it from dems. He's been very good lately but seems to have developed a case of nerves the last couple days, probably due to close proximity to the dems that make him a bit unsure or unduly apprehensive of how things are perceived.
He was wrong on Zell as was Jonah Goldberg earlier, but they're still pretty good guys.

I have enjoyed watching C-span. I cannot listen to these beltway people tell me what I heard and what to think.
The essence of Zel Miller's speech IMHO is that FAMILY matters and our family needs to be protected. from terrorists and nuts. I have also notice that none of the Republicans are screeming when giving their speeches in sharp contrast to the RATS who screemed every word. I still have ringing in my ears from the junior manlady from NY.

You know what I think is a HUGE joke is the Kerry ad I saw on FOX about an hour ago (and a few other times)....it's the one where the ACTOR says he used to vote for Republican presidents but not this time.....he's voting for Kerry.
The ACTOR says Kerry has a specific plan for the war on terror. WHAT A JOKE. Kerry has NEVER been specific about ANYTHING except RAISING TAXES and GUTTING the MILITARY. Otherwise, he's nothing but a FLIP-FLOP, a weather vane.....
The paid-for-actor also said that nothing's more important to him than the safety of this country. . . . for most Americans, nothing is more important than the safety of their FAMILIES.....which, of course, would be protected if you arm your military with something more than SPITBALLS.......

What IS going on with Lowry these days? He used to be much stronger defending the administration's positions.

EXCUSE ME....the actor was just on again. He didn't use the word "specific" he said KERRY HAS A STRATEGY.
Well, if it's so "strategic," why don't the democRats know what it is? Why doesn't Kerry even know what it is?
To: cyncooper
Hi, cyn..do you think we should all say a prayer for President Bush and his speech tonight?

Gergen is a worm. Slice him open, and you will find worms.
Roll him over and you will find worms who bought their tickets late and couldn't get good seats.
