Bush Fundraiser - Need Video/PowerPoint Presentation Help Please!

Posted on 09/01/2004 12:30:29 PM PDT by Bluegrass Federalist

I am hosting a large fundraiser for the President, targeting young professionals. The venue has a great video system, and I would like to have a rolling presentation running in the background, focusing on key accomplishments, and key events.

I know there have been some great presentations done by Freepers or posted here on 9/11 images, Afghanistan & Iraq images, rebuilding, humanitarian & smiling Iraqis images, etc. Could you guys point me to some good ones, or help me design something that would be inspirational for my event?

THANKS FREEPERS!

Here is one titled - "REMEMBER THE BLOOD OF HEROES" - I don't know if you can use it but it is one of the best!

And you're starting this now? Check the Daily Dose to pull images. Make sure you give credit to any photos you use that are not yours. Don't use anything smaller than 28pt type. You can search for Powerpoint graphics and get tons of backgrounds and other stuff.

You may want to include Bush's accomplishments in the area of spending.

I suggest ProShow Gold by Photodex. Much shorter learning curve and more versatile than PowerPoint. You can make CD-ROM, DVD, MiniDVD, VCD, SVCD, MPEG, CVD, automatic executable files, and streaming to a web site from your show. Supports every popular graphic file and including MPEG1&2 video files.

Includes music timing and fade out, hundreds of transitions from slide to slide, time the length of slide view and time the length of transition to perfectly match music, pan, zoom in or out, rotating slide, captions with True type font or other, and much more. Best slide show program out there.

If you need a template, download this template I made...

1. Right Click here
2. Select "Save Target As..."
3. Save it to a directory
4. Edit as needed

Should only take a few seconds to download.
