I LOVE it!!
Good speech at points. I was a little stunned by all his talked of seeing the evils of Communism, and then lumping in that American cheered as Nelson Mandella did anything, who was the very representative of that Communism Arnie says he saw, and loathed.
It was a good point, and for people to remember, however - America is the land of opportunity.
'Hasta la Vista, Kerry' was great too..
It was a fantastic 'pep talk.' And the audience loved it..

I disagree with Arnold about a lot, but I was genuinely proud to hear him talk about coming out of socialism and rejecting the Dems because they are just like what he's gotten away from in Europe. Very cool.

You are absolutely correct, but that was a political point --- perhaps the only one in his speech --- designed to appeal to black watching TV from home.
Arnold did a slamm'n job on his speech. Looks like he will be 08 candidate for president. Very very very inspirational speech he did.
One of the best political speeches I have seen ever. Arnold's enthusiasism is infectious and his delivery was perfect.
If he can overcome that little constitutional problem.
GovRino gave a good speech, but it was pure Hollywood. Arnold stayed away from the social issues and for good reason. He sounded sorta conservative and he sounded sorta libertarian too. Liberty. Economic security. Support for PresBush. Like I said, a good speech. One of the best ever? Hardly.
Arnold is great for California, but I think we should leave the constitution alone. Its said he does have desires for higher office.
I listened to his speach last night and thought some of his best was talking about life in Austria as a youth, coming to America, hearing Nixon speak and becoming an American because of it. He painted a picture of what the Dems ultimately want for this country- socialism. He spoke positively and lovingly about what this country offers. And he was right.
You need to pick up a copy of the US Constitution. Scwarzy can't legally run for POTUS and talk of amending the Constitution shouldn't even be considered, just so this Hollywood liberal can become president.
