Bush twins 'embarrass' parents. (video)
Posted on 09/01/2004 7:58:42 AM PDT by evets
Ha ha. Well, they said it, not me:
"Remember all those times when you're growing up and your parents embarrased you? Well, this is payback time on live t.v.!"
(I loved it and thought they we're funny. I'm sure that their family loved it too!)

I thought it was so nice to see a politician's kids who didn't act like a politician's kids.

I was nervous about watching them speaking, so I did what someone suggested and just imagined them in their underwear. ;)

I get the feeling the parents wrote the script for the twins.

It was corny teenage humor. It should not have been scheduled
directly after Schwarzeneggar.
But it did not 'embarrass' George and Laura. That's ridiculous.

maybe but she is thin already....look for more pictures and you can tell she is just fine.

The Kerri campaign could try to use this gaffe as a pivot point to surge ahead of Bush. I'm sure his advisors are thinking about it. They now have the "Twins-gate" and "Bandaid-gate". Look for a big surge in Kerri's poll numbers.

They are more likable tahnn sKerrys daugters. However, kids have only been photo ops for a long time. Maybe after Chelsea things changed. That sucks because if I was a teenage I would not want to have anything to do with this.

I just watched the intro for the first time. They're not comically gifted. So what? Everyone in the press has been crowing about how uncomfortable everyone was on the floor. I didn't see it.
The Bush twins weren't pretending to be something they're not. They're young adults who did the same things we did in college and are probably not quite ready for prime time speaking. I wasn't offended and I wasn't surprised, either. Like most political offspring, they don't have an interest in politics after years of getting blanketed by the Secret Service.

Give them a break! For those of you that think they were so bad, I have two words for you - Terri Kerry!
