Bush twins 'embarrass' parents. (video)
Posted on 09/01/2004 7:58:42 AM PDT by evets
Ha ha. Well, they said it, not me:
"Remember all those times when you're growing up and your parents embarrased you? Well, this is payback time on live t.v.!"
(I loved it and thought they we're funny. I'm sure that their family loved it too!)

And as to our son. We have never been so proud of anyone or anything in our lives than our son's brave service for the cause of our country's freedom and safety. As well you should be!
And my apologies for the 'verbosity.' I was born this way. ;o)
I suffer from a similar ailment...
Four more years!

apologies for the 'verbosity.'Don't apologise. There is a whole horde of smart-alecs who mistake a sharp quip for explaining a position. There is nothing wrong with explaining yourself.

This is pure class - and you can only do that in a family that is totally comfortable with itself. Absolutely.
You nailed it with your post. This family is completely comfortable, confident and strong, and that was revealed by the twins' words and actions.
The fact that they weren't polished is irrelevant.........or maybe it IS relevant to the overall picture that they were just there as part of a loving, teasing, healthy family.
After four years, I still feel the breath of fresh air that entered the White House after eight years of stench, and these girls are part of it.

Neither of them reflected the great parents they have, or grandparents!Oh yes they did, but you come from such an austere Calvanist bent that you cannot see genuine love and respect when you see it.

I noticed. ;o) Pithy.
(Five letter response...you have to admit that's not bad.)
To: AndyJackson
I think that people who say they didn't reflect their great family need to watch the whole thing again with an open mind.
Something was getting in the way of their seeing what was really happening, IMO.
