Thanks for posting the speech.
The Secret Service doesn't take chances, they must always assume that person has a weapon.
I'm a New Yorker, and I'm even proud of him. I wrote him and thanked him profusely for supporting President Bush and for putting the country's needs ahead of his party.
Cheney may not be the most dynamic speaker but he gets his points across.
There have been a couple of threads on it - dealing with W and the National Guard.
Yes; he's in the house.
for you dumb asses, Cheney is calling Kerry out, it was a metaphor
It's not the scowl on his face or the anger in his voice they are attacking. They are attacking Zell Miller because he is a Democrat that spoke the truth about the party.
I know - LOL! I loved this part, too:
"Now, while young Americans are dying in the sands of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan, our nation is being torn apart and made weaker because of the Democrat's manic obsession to bring down our Commander in Chief."
"If you look at content, delivery, and appearance, Arnold was the best, followed by Rudy, Zell, then McCain, IMHO."
I thought Arnold, while good, was overrated. It was his basic stump speech with all the cheesy movie lines. I much preferred Zell and Rudy. But its all a matter of taste. I think it is safe to say that every night has had a really great speech.
Reminds me of a song...
Can't you see the Freepers marching,
they're all out of step but NYC Republican.
"GEORGE W. BUSH WILL NEVER SEEK A PERMISSION SLIP TO DEFEND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE"
You are an idiot. Do you want a knock on the door by a not-so-friendly Secret Service agent?
Thanks .... the fact that he is there slipped by me somehow.
That is no lie.
He is putting my wife and I to sleep.
Somebody on CNN..I think Blitzer..was hurrying to get in that Bush called us occupiers but didn't have time to really go into it because someone else was coming up
Here's a secret...women really like men who take charge. They may not tell the pollster, but they'll like it.
Cheney: George Bush will never seek a permission slip to defend the American People
