Thank you very much. I saw you post it earlier and already sent a heart felt thank you.
His line about calling our troops occupiers, not liberators was inspiring.

The media would do that no matter what, but it was a serious recitation of clear observation that most have noticed, but few have put into words so directly. If anything the delegate's overexuberance (like cheers at a boxing match) were what was out of place, not Zell's seriousness.

Downside thinker? Nope, I'm just trying to be as honest as I can, and I think he's going to come across just like Buchanan did in '92...
He had a great speech, so-so delivery

I love what he said, I think he could have done it without looking so angry. Maybe it is because he was angry that the Dems have nominated someone who bugged out of Vietnam, slandered Americans while still in combat, met with the enemy in Paris, and voted against defense systems for almost 20 years in Congress. I am angry and upset that such a person could be considered for dog catcher, let alone President. The stakes in this election are serious. God help us if Kerry and the Dems take over at the critical juncture. We are still dealing with Clinton's legacy.

Somebody just emailed me and said that ...on NBC (?)....
John McCain was dissing Zells speech and defended Kerry 4 times.
I guess it happened between Zell and Lynn's speech.
Musta been quick.
Anybody see this?
To: sitetest
If Mr. Cheney had given this speech, it would have been 1992/Pat Buchanan redux. But Spitball Kerry can blame for all this meanness on... ...a fellow Democrat. Precisely! The Republicans are finally learning how to play the game.

Thank you. Zell needs to have our support; life will be miserable for him for a while without it.

We understand that you were offended by Zell's anger that 40% of America puts party ahead of security, give it up already.
To: Howlin
Ya'll all be sure and post various media reactions/phrases to Zell Miller's speech!!! Mr. HR is fixing to take the remote control away from me due to my flipping around to see what the media has to say!!!
