None of the MSM have even taken the time to read the book, Unfit for Command. They are just reading the Dem talking points. Don and Roma are just as much as fault because they don't know enough to set Jennings straight. I even fault Rush in that regard. He hasn't read the book either.

Was there EVER one single, solitary witness who EVER came forward and suggested that George W. Bush's service in the National Guard was ANYTHING but honorable?

There are three individuals who were on Kerry's boat at one time or another (including the Whaler involved in the first incident) who disupte various aspects of Kerry's claims. One is in the swiftvet commercial, disputing Cambodia. One is dead (can't remember the spelling offhand -- it was Tom Belodeau or something like that), but he disputed one of Kerry's several versions of the hootch incident. The third is a superior officer who says he was on the mission on the Whaler and disputes the enemy fire claim.

Jennings is either ignorant or lying.

No matter what Peter Jennings, the MSM or the Democrat Party says about John Kerry, the Swift boats Vets have destroyed his run at the Presidency!!! He is toast, and a burned one at that. And....tonight Dick Cheney is going to manufacture a new baseball bat to whack him with. This guy is a traitor to his country and, more importantly, his military brothers. He should and will be destroyed at the ballot box!!!

None of Bush's AWOL critics served with him in the National Guard.

A buffoonish news-reader like Peter Jennings would never have heard of Steve Gardner, let alone have a clue about anything else pertaining to the Swift Boat Veterans' story. His job is very easy - - just regurgitate the DNC "talking points" fax.

Besides that it simply isn't true. Gardner was on one of the boats, and Schacter(sp) was on another.

Who has the picture of those 3 Swift Boats going upstream with jungle on both sides? There's about 10 meters between each boat.....no different than a tank platoon.

But isn't that what responsible journalism is all about? To find out what is fact and fiction.

Of course it is. That's why the trendsetting NYT is sending correspondents to the Mekong Delta to ferret out Vietcong Kerry supporters.

Strangely, the Times can't find any sceptical Vietnamese sources in Little Saigon, Westminster, CA; Eden Center, Falls Church, VA; Chinatown, New York City; or Houston or elsewhere in the U.S.A.

Nice try from one of the worst of the "media Marxists". And who had the brass to ask if the media was biased ???? The leftist media has so much invested in the liberal Dems now, they are in major trouble. Ratings dropping, viewers wising-up and going to sources willing to ask the REAL QUESTIONs about the Dems.

Thank you Peter...FOX News is loving every minute of it.

Jennings is just repeating the lies he was given without question like a good little partisan hack.

You mean except for the one that served on Kerry's boat longer than anyone else served on his boat?

Well yeah.....but he wasn't standing in the same SPOT on the boat!

Classic win/win. The people want the media to ask the questions and want Kerry to answer the charges. The more they decline to do so, the more the people will conclude what they are already thinking. The dead silence from the MSM and Kerry on this issue bodes well for our side and will be measured in the margin of victory for the President in November.

I gave up on Jennings after watching him on 9/11 go after Bush for not returning to D.C. fast enough. I've never forgiven him for the manner in which he did so. He is dead to me.

Apparently, Gardner had not actually sprung from John Kerry's loins, therefore his testimony is invalid. Sorry for the mental picture.

That's right, he's actually reading the talking points from the Kerry campaign now. I know, I know......we're not supposed to be surprised at media bias, let alone Peter Jennings; but this was beyond even what I could believe. He basically said in the interview that he's not going to ask John Kerry any questions about any of the allegations, EVER, and that the Swift boat vets are liars.

This on is just beyond the pale, even for media bias...

No....maybe you are just coming up to speed? I don't know...But I could show you piles and piles of stinking media bias...24/7 365 days a year.

FWIW-

PETER JENNINGS IS A BALD FACED LIAR! There now has been TWO SB Vets that have come forward to dispell this lie. One is a Retired Admiral, the other is the person in the 3rd SBVT Ad.

Perhaps it is time that We FREEPERS take out another full page ad in Washington times. This time taking LIARS like Peter Jennings to task on the pages of a newpaper. Anyone game?
