What is going on here, Katey Couric dissing Michael Moore, the Kerry girls booed on MTV, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.

You know, subjecting yourself to these shows does have its rewards once in a while.

Thanks.

I haven't put on my pressure suit and gone over to DU lately. How are they taking all this? I just thought of something, 'The Study of Democratic Underground' could be a great dissertation for an abnormal psychologist.

Well, I'm not as sure as you that Katie was schlepping for Kerry this morning. Oh, maybe a little, but I think her questions were designed to give Moore every opportunity to bash Cheney, Bush and McCain, who didn't even see the movie. Only problem....Moore was on his very best, "I'm a normal guy" behavior. Moore looked unwashed, but he didn't say anything anywhere near as outrageous as he usually does.

Moore said Letterman had offered him a gig tonight, to go back to the Garden to do a bit for Dave's show. (If Security lets him in, if USATODAY hasn't revoked his press pass, SHAME ON THEM BOTH!!

"I knew he'd be a celebrity, but I was surprised by the extent of both the media coverage and the security reaction," said Owen Ullmann, Moore's USA Today editor. "It created more of a disruption than was intended."

From USATODAY:
"Tuesday, Aug. 31: John Kerry's campaign has just announced it is making a $45 million, 20-state ad buy. That is substantially more money than either President George H.W. Bush or challenger Bill Clinton raised for their entire 1992 presidential campaigns. Bush raised about $30 million and Clinton raised about $25 million, according to this report from the Center for Responsive Politics. Posted at 6:50 p.m. ET. <

"I knew he'd be a celebrity but I was surprised by the extent of both the media coverage and the security reaction," said Owen Ullmann, Moore's USA Today editor. "It created more of a disruption than was intended."

Ullmann initially said that Moore would not be returning to Madison Square Garden. But he later said, in the end, the columnist has "to speak for himself."

HA!
She's worried about the faces of her party:
Michael Moore's and John Kerry's.
