Sorry for starting this thread so early. Is this like calling "shotgun" three days before the trip starts LOL?

I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?

Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.

He had lots of guys behind him and he had a good sized crowd with lots more applause than this.

A picture of the audience was just on. It looks like people in the front rows are applauding, but definitely the majority of the audience seems to be not applauding. My guess is that the first 3 rows are DNC plants.

I actually just heard a couple of 'boos' when he talked about affordable health care.

Yes I heard boos too in the mix of a little applause ... right after his talk on health care.

I think the optics are really bad.

They are the only ones clapping most of the time. LOL

Like he can add 40,000 and double the special forces at the drop of a hat. These folks must know that we have already enlisted an extra 30,000.

CNN (no Fox here) just did a crowd clapping shot, it looked like 75 percent were NOT clapping. A couple hundred in the shot.

they packed the room with the TN chapter of Vets for Kerry ... but note that the cameras are showing NO ONE else. I want to see other faces, empty seats, whatever the real situation is.
